Win-Win-WIN - for less!
What could be better: We didn't have to pay some shop $100 to "recover" the data from the hard drive after the laptop died, AND we don't have to going out and buy an external hard drive to keep backing up on the computer's replacement!My teenage son discovered this little gem by coincidence in his search for ways to rescue his data from the crashed laptop. I definitely wish that this type of product was more widely known - think of all the money and grief people could be saving!This was very simple to use, and worked first time, right out of the gate. I cannot recommend this product highly enough to anyone whose laptop is not being resold complete. Terrific "green" re-use of the components, too.

This drive enclosure does exactly what it says it does. Very easy assembly. I have been using it to transfer data for about 2 weeks now and have had no issues. Please keep in mind that only slim drives will fit in it. The thicker 2.5 inch drives will not fit.

Amazing. In less than 2 minutes I had my laptop hard drive in the enclosure with no tools, and recovered all of my files. No tools...no fuss. I now have a wonderful external hard drive to continue to use.

Excellent, easy solution to recover data and have external storage
Was exactly what I was looking for - enabled me to pull info off dead laptops that would normally have been lost when the laptop died. Easy to install drive, easy to hook up to computer. Total win-win.
