Rubie's womens Wizard of Oz Glinda Costume Dress and Tiara

This costume is so gorgeous! The fit was generous. Very sparkly and beautiful. It was definitely a hit with everyone when I wore it to work. The crown was a little wonky as it never fully recovered from being bent in the packaging. But I added some rhinestones to the front and it turned out great.

I purchased this in advance of Halloween so I had time to adjust a few things. I am 5’4” & 120 lbs. The dress fit nicely except the elastic in the arms was tight. I was able to stuff with socks to stretch it out before wearing. I used a hoop skirt underneath that wasn’t necessary but definitely enhanced the look. The crown was bent erratically so I had to use books over time to straighten the fit. I also added a little bedazzling on the crown. I absolutely loved the end result and received many compliments. There was a lot of glitter that came off but I expected it based on the other reviews. I would recommend this Glinda costume as long as you know what to expect.

It fit true to size, it actually was better quality than I expected and it was comfortable. The only negative thing I have was that it left glitter everywhere. Very pleased.

For an out of the package costume, this outfit is really cute at first glance. Unfortunately, there were a few issues.It is a GLITTER BOMB for one. Glitter EVERYWHERE after trying it on.Secondly, I have a 38C bust and a 32" waist and ordered a large. The dress doesn't want to stay velcroed in back when I move around, (three tiny strips of Velcro hold the back together) and arrived with a small tear in the upper right shoulder. I found that it had a weird fit overall. The bust was too small, and it hit at the wrong part of my waist.Thirdly, the elastic that rests on your biceps was oddly itchy and a bit tight. I probably could have managed that part for a few parties though if the fit had been right.Lastly, the crown was oddly bent from being in the package, and with it being plastic, I'm not sure I could have straightened it out.Overall, a cute idea, but bad execution. I'll stick to putting my own costumes together for another year.

Dress arrived with a hole in it and ridiculously wrinkly. The material is insanely itchy and uncomfortable. It has a tiny thin strip of velcro in the back so it constantly came open in the back, even though it was a bit baggy on me. The glitter came off everywhere and made a huge mess. The crown is made of cheap clear plastic and was folded and creased in the box so It looked weird and was hard to put on. Such a rip off. So pricey for such a piece of trash.

This was a last minute purchase for a school play and it is actually a very beautiful dress! Of course glitter gets everywhere but after steaming it, it is perfect

I was very upset to find that the crown or the tiara is completely broken with a very big crack in it that is unfixable. It was folded flat in a bag. It has big creases in it. It would be virtually impossible to wear, even if it wasn’t cracked, and the costume itself did fit, and I did size down as they suggested the sleeves are really thin and flimsy. You would need to be very careful not to tear them if you needed to wear it multiple times.They were not kidding. It is a virtual glitter bomb, so be careful where you open it for the price of the costume. I was expecting a little bit better quality.

Good quality for price. Fit well, made well, and for the price you can’t beat it. I got soooooo many compliments on it. Slightly itchy material if wearing all day and expect glitter to be everywhereeeeee

I HAVE WORN THIS COSTUME TWO YEARS IN A ROW FOR HALLOWEEN TO GREET TRICK OR TREATERS. MANY CHILDREN AND ADULTS ALIKE ARE PLEASANTLY SURPRISED TO SEE SUCH A LOVELY COSTUME. THIS IS TRULY A WELL MADE COSTUME WITH LOTS OF DETAILS ALLOVER THE DRESS AND A GENEROUS FULLNESS TO THE SKIRT OF THE COSTUME. THE TOP BODICE IS GENEROUS BUT IT WOULD NEVER FIT A FULL FIGURED WOMEN WHO IS LARGER THAN A 38 BRA SIZE. I WEIGH 163LBS. RIGHT NOW AND I AM 5' 5" TALL. I AM ABLE TO WEAR A MEDIUM WEIGHT LUREX SWEATER UNDER THE DRESS TO KEEP ME WARM WHEN I AM HANDING OUT CANDY. I ALSO FIND THAT THE SLEEVES ARE A GENEROUS LENGTH BUT THAT THE PUFF SLEEVE HAS AN ELASTIC THAT IS A BIT TIGHT AROUND THE BICEP IN MY UPPER ARM WHEN WORN OVER A SWEATER. THE DRESS COMES DOWN AND COVERS MY ANKLES SO IT IS NOT DESIGNED FOR SOMEONE TOO PETITE. THE TIARA IS LIGHTWEIGHT AND FLEXIBLE PLASTIC WITH THREE VELCRO CLOSURES. I HAVE HAD MANY WOMEN ASK ME WHERE I PURCHASED THIS COSTUME AND I TOLD THEM THAT I GOT IT ON AMAZON.
