A superb addition to my watch collection.
I always wanted a Fortis watch and for $715 couldn't pass on this beautiful B-42 Aeromaster Dusk! First off, this is a stunning watch in person and my first with a PVD finished case. The watch successfully blends vintage flieger, military, and aviation design elements to achieve a distinctive and functional style. I chose this watch over the Fortis flieger and Spacematic models. The AR coated Sapphire crystal, black numerals and unique dial color have garnered many compliments. Separate day/date windows really enhance legibility. Moans and niggles? (Sorry JOMW!) Although the leather strap is high quality and matches the case perfectly, the buckle and thorn are too small and are proportioned for a dress watch. This watch is understated and mainly watch cognoscenti have identified it. The Fortis B-42 Aeromaster Dusk rounds out the "tool watch" portion of my collection and joins Seiko, Orient, Vostok, Ollech and Waj and Casio models.
