Vacuum Cleaner Adapter 35mm (1-3/8 Inch) to 31 mm (1-1/4 Inch) for Inner Diameter 32 mm Brush Fit to Outer Diameter 35 mm Tube Plastic Vacuum Hose Adapter(2 Pieces)

I bought these to use with a few attachments I wanted for my Eureka Whirlwind bagless vac. The hose is not standard size so I bought these and then was able to use attachments sold to fit other full size vacs.

Fits with the fur eel fur vacuum attachments in their weird size and a fein vacuum hose. Perfect fit and more reasonable than the fur eel adapter, 4 for the price of 1 so each attachment has its own adapter

I wanted to use this product to connect my cheap Dirt Devil UD 20120 to an old Mighty Mite 32mm reach adapter. It didn't fit either out of the box. It was a breadth too small for the reach hose, and a breadth too big for my (oddly sized) 33.4mm Dirt Devil hose. I was able to fix it and add gripping friction by circling the inside with electrical tape, and it does the job now. However, the female side of the adapter is a straight cylinder. If it reduced its diameter, like a cone, it would be able to secure small variances in size. You may have to modify this product to get it to fit your particular vacuum.

To clear up confusion about this product, the seller should 1) clearly depict how this product is to be used to adapt between parts, and 2) specify the inside and outside diameters of each end (big end, small end). The adapters I received do not match the diameters called out in the second photo from the left; the big end O.D. measured 1 ½” (not the 1 3/8” depicted in the photo) and the small end I.D. measured 1 1/16” (not the 1 ¼” depicted in the photo); measured dimensions were determined using a machinists scale.

I thought these were going to be 2 different sizes but they are identical. Thought was to interchange attachments between my 2 vacuums but doesn't allow you to.

I purchased the adapter so I could use Kenmore accessories on a Miele vacuum cleaner - works perfectly. I did find the adapter description somewhat confusing but after re-reading it carefully, it is in fact accurate. Restated the 35mm is the outer diameter of the vacuum cleaner HOSE which is the inner diameter of the big end of the adapter. So my 35mm Miele hose plugs into this. 31mm is the outer diameter of the small end of the adapter which plugs into the attachments

Needed vacuum adapter so I could use old vacuum brushes with new shark. Quality, sturdy plastic adapters fit great.I even dipped one of the 32mm sides (twice), into Plasticmix liquid plastic and increased its O.D. to 34mm, and now I can put my 35-year-old Kirby vacuum attacments on it and attach the 35mm I.D. end to my Shark duo flex.Awesome little adapter.
