DESKTOP Wooden Model Kit Western House 2 by Young Modeler

I'll start off saying I'm a professional modeler and diorama/vignette builder and have decades experience with the crafts, this kit is fun to put together and is super simple. My advice for beginners and/or the less experienced folks is make sure you have a sharp hobby blade, preferably with a blunt/straight but sharp edge rather than the typical pointed blade so you can easily separate the pieces from the sprues as we call them. You should also have a basic modelers kit that includes snips, tweezers and files etc so that you can make adjustments and smooth edges. I also recommend good modeling putty for seams and gaps to neaten things up. It can be built in a couple hours but if you're someone like me who customizes everything and tries to make things realistic it could take much longer. It's fun to do so don't stress, if youget frustrated then put it away for a few days and then come back to it. I will buy many more of these and customize them with lighting and accessories, maybe you'll see them and myself at model builder conventions. 😉Remember this is supposed to be a fun hobby.

I was hoping it was a little bit bigger. I ordered this because I wanted to make my mom a Christmas village out of better model houses and this will still work, just have to keep ordering the rest of the sets. They work perfectly with fairy lights as well as the windows are made of plastic see through material and brings out the realistic aspects of a house. Everything was included in the kit, however none of the cut out wood pieces were marked with numbers or letters so when your putting it together you have to go off of the shapes according to the instructions. The glue was good, it came with two packages of glue which is well more then enough. Just be careful pressing the window plastic into the window slots because the center wood frames are very thin and delicate and can easily break.

What a joy to build! Instructions are very good with clear step-by-step color images of the building process. The laser cut parts are pretty hardy, but there are some you will have to be ginger with. You almost won’t need any glue because the pieces fit tightly, but would suggest the use of a slow CA glue for structural integrity.And the ‘KCrew’, who are the shippers of this product, get the merchandise shipped fast, considering these kits come from South Korea.The manufacturers are ‘Young Modeler’ and they have a wide range of wooden kits.Highly recommend!!!

I had surgery on my foot so I cannot walk these puzzles are a good past time fun to put together and you can build yourself a little city especially if your hobby has trains

I don't really mind if items are imported, but I do care if they are non-toxic and if the directions are written in clear English. Nowhere in the pictures does the item indicate that most of the words are written in Korean. All of the directions are interpreted into English and most of them are clear enough, even though they are not stated as an American would express them. The picture shows part of the directions. This truly falls short. I think I can get the idea, but this is hard to decipher!

I have to build it now my finance bought it for me. Looks fine however.
