Q&R 100pcs Steel Rivet Nut Insert Nutsert #8-32 #10-24 1/4-16 5/16-18 3/8-16

These are the first rivet nuts I have bought but they seem to be well made and this a good price for the kit. For that reason, I am giving five stars even though I do not think they will work well for me. It is my first time to try using rivet nuts and I made the rookie mistake of buying a cheap pair of rivet nut pliers and trying to compress steel rivet nuts with them. I can probably get away with it using 10-24 nuts, but I'm pretty sure I should be using Aluminum rivet nuts instead of steel with my twenty dollar pliers. Aluminum will be strong enough to hold what I need and easier to compress. You could give yourself an aneurysm (or maybe just a hemorrhoid) trying to compress these 3/8 steel rivets with short handled pliers. If you used pipes to extend the handles for leverage, I'm pretty sure the pliers would fail. So if you are just starting to use rivet nuts be advised, but if you are looking for steel rivet-nuts, look no farther.

the rivnuts are better than some I have seen. They have a larger head and crush well on the back side and the tool is easy to use.

My first time using rivnuts. Bought this as a "start kit" for a project on my jeep. Each rivnut successfully installed on the first try, and was fully compatible with my new economy rivet nut tool. No complaints.

They worked for me and none of them have spun out...yet. I would buy them again, unless it's for my personal space shuttle.

good set of riv nuts compressed evenly. installation as it should be. don't know if I'll be able to use the 3/8" ones, can't find a 3/8 mandrel for the gun I bought at the same time.

I need a bunch of these for blind holes. This assortment will work fine. Be aware that these are soft. I mean you can rip out the threads if you torque your bolt to tight.

Good luck finding a 1/4-16 riv nut mandrel. Everything out there is 1/4-20.

Used for practice works great if installed correctly. need to know correct drill size for each size rivnut.

These pieces are enough for most small jobs A box would be nice. Common UNC thread sizes.
