This stuff is worth every cent. I cannot express how awesome this stuff is for a hangover, overeating, and feeling better after being dehydrated from being outside/overheated or being sick to your stomach. Your headache will lessen and you'll feel better overall. While it is not a replacement for actual medical care, it really is like an IV in a bottle and the best electrolyte drink I've ever had. My friend worked outside in the heat every day and often felt like passing out, but started to drink one in the early afternoon and sipped on one through the day and felt so much better every day. 4 Tips: 1. Drink it cold! It will also work at room temp but tastes better cold. 2. You'll get used to the flavor. The citrus flavor helps, but it is inherently a lil salty and a little odd at first but you get used to the taste, especially when you need electrolytes, and you see how it helps you. 3. Drink a whole one immediately (moderate pace, don't have to chug), then sip on another throughout the day. This has worked best for me in the past especially with hangovers and day after the beach. 4. Of course drink water before, during, and after any event you know will drain you. They also sell this at liquor stores and pharmacies but it's cheaper to buy in bulk once you realize how useful it is to have on hand as a remedy. Hope that helps!

I tried one of these a few weeks ago after a bout of food bourn illness. My Son suggested that I drink a cold one because my tummy was queasy for a few days. Less than an hour afterwards I felt a whole lot better. I don't remember the flavor, but it tasted good. The ingredients must be right because it goes down smoothly. I saw that there was only 10 grams sugar, great! The effects of Biolyte really are like an IV in a bottle!

I'm a licensed massage therapist whose specialty is deep tissue massage, which means that after several deep sessions in a row I am wiped out and frequently have to rest afterwards to recover. A client mentioned these to me, and after drinking them for over a year [along with water] I can say that they have helped a LOT. When I've had one to nurse during particularly long days, I am much less likely to have a headache - especially when I have also remembered to drink water. My partner has been drinking them too, and has said repeatedly that the only reason he was able to work double shifts in a hot kitchen is because of these drinks. The taste is an aquired one, especially if you have limited experience with electrolyte drinks. I personally drink the citrus ones but my partner also really likes the melon flavor... and both of us really dislike the berry flavor, so take that as you will. The bottles also hold up really well to being left in the freezer, which means slushies are an option. I'm not super fond of the price, but I don't drink coffee or the like so I'm willing to spend extra on these if it means I can be functional after rough days.
