The Rosewood Chronicles #2: Princess in Practice

I absolutely loved this book it was a great sequel of undercover princess. I don’t want to spoil but the end did make me a little sad but also eager for the next book!! I LOVE THE ROSEWOOD CHRONICLES!!’nn

Just another great installment by Connie Glynn! I really enjoyed her first book and could not wait for the next one. Glynn's writing is beautifully descriptive and keeps you interested page after page. Such a fun book that takes you into another world! A thrilling adventure that is just overall worth the read. Definitely recommend!

My 10 year old daughter purchased this book with her birthday money after really enjoying the first in the series. She came to me flushed and uncomfortable by a very descriptive kissing scene. It saddens me that a book "designed" for her age, (and younger!) would leave her feeling this way. There is only a brief window for a child to be a child, why can't we allow them to exist in that innocence as long as possible? This book ended up in the garbage, as we didn't want our purchase to ever leave another little girl feeling the same as our daughter did. Mom & Dad happily covered the cost for her to purchase a new, genuinely age appropriate book to enjoy in it's place.Be intentional parents. Even if a 1st book in a series is ok, that success in itself may give an author a false freedom to share things your child at 8-12 may not be ready for and certainly shouldn't be forced to address in a recreational princess story.

I loved the book

I’m reading this to my little girls ages 8 and 9. There is adult content in it. I redirected them to a more age appropriate read aloud book. I recommend parents read this before having your child read it. It might be fine for some people, I’m uncomfortable with the message it sends.

Within the recent weeks, I finished this book after reading the previous one, ' Undercover Princess', which alike this one was enthralling and captured you in the slightly surreal world of Lottie Pumpkin. The Rosewood Chronicles, the title of the two books, are targeted at an audience who enjoy the genres: Action, Drama and hints of Romance. This novel not only engages the reader to the extent that they cannot draw their attention away but also has a complex narrative of twists and emotions. I strongly advise that you read the other book before this one because of the fact that you will already know the characters and their unique personality traits. I hope that if you do decide to purchase this book you will enjoy it and be lost in as much as I have.

Such a great book. I’ve read the first one sand this was the second. Can’t wait for the third book in September. Perfect for both adults and teens

This book is a fabulous example of Connie Glynn's fabulous writing skills. She creates a story with magic, mystery and wonder. The characters are so easy to connec with and each have they're own personalities. Princess in Practice is a masterpiece for all ages.

I liked this book just as much as the first and read it all in one day! I'm hoping there will be a third... :)
