Swan Mineral Oil 16 oz

I recently purchased the Swan Mineral Oil 16 oz for a DIY project involving snow globe tumblers, and I couldn’t be more impressed with how well it works! The oil is smooth, clear, and odorless, making it the perfect base for creating that magical floating effect inside the tumblers. The consistency is just right—thick enough to suspend the glitter and small decorations but not so thick that it feels heavy or clunky. I used it to fill several snow globe tumblers, and the results were fantastic. The glitter and tiny figurines swirl around beautifully without sinking too quickly. It gives the tumblers a soothing, slow-motion effect that’s exactly what I was hoping for. The 16 oz bottle is a great size for multiple projects, and the price is quite reasonable given how much you get. The oil is also incredibly versatile, so I’m planning to use it for other crafts and projects as well. Bought it for one of my dogs, as suggested by a doctor and works as intended. It arrived in a good condition.

I purchased this to oil my wood cutting boards. It's much less expensive than the high priced mineral oil advertised to oil wood cutting boards. It's exactly the same product just a lot less expensive and a better quality. In fact, this mineral oil is ingestible which is a higher quality than food safe mineral oil. Easy to apply and easy to wipe off. It doesn't leave a sticky film.

Item is great, work as intended. I used it to cure my bamboo products, since I heard that its the best way to cure, protect and extend the life of any bamboo products.

The biggest plus of this particular product is that it is exactly what it says, without claiming some "specific use" that inflates it's price. A perfect example of where generic is best. Unless you like paying more for a fancy bottle or the placebo effect that comes with it claiming "salad bowl oil". My use is a bit esoteric - I used it to oil 500 poker chips I bought. Clay chips in particular get a nice muted shine to them when you oil them and mineral oil is the perfect thing for that. I probably wasn't as careful as I could have been in trying to prevent waste, but even so, I was able to thoroughly oil 500 chips with only about 1/3 of the bottle. I now have 2/3 of a bottle for whatever other thing I might need mineral oil for and it didn't break the bank. Thanks, Swan! Also, this oil washes off easily with Dawn dish soap, so clean up is a breeze.

I clean my granite sink with baking soda and vinegar and then coat it with this mineral oil. It stays nice for a week.

When my ear was plugged up with wax, doc advised using mineral oil to loosen the cumulative wax blocking my pristine hearing. It worked well to prepare my ear for the ease of a necessary follow-up extraction.

The product is really good but it's a little expensive.

Works great for storing potassium and sodium metal. Just expect a bit of bubbling. But overall works great. And it’s also great for cutting boards too

I like this mineral oil very much and use this product for a variety of things. I primarily bought this to condition my charcuterie boards but I also use it to remove lash clue from my eye area as well! Zero complaints! All love!
