Noisy but reliable wine fridge
I have read through several reviews online on this unit and other competitive units. If you care about honest reviews, please read on. Short review - A noisy replacement to my 10 year old Wine Enthusiast 24 bottle unit. Please stop complaining that the unit is noisy because you don't understand how refrigeration (compressor) based units work. There are some not-so-smart reviews out there who take videos of this unit complaining about the noise. If your room temperature is going to increase, the fridge needs to fire up the compressor to maintain the temperature you have set. I put mine in the garage because of the noise (problem solved). If you are considering this inside the house and care about noise pollution - this wine fridge is not for you. Long version - I am a proud owner of Wine Enthusiast wine fridge that I bought 10 years ago from another vendor. I love the simplicity and build quality. There was so much negativity these days about customer service (I will get to that as well). 2 weeks ago, my old unit stopped working. I was scrambling to find a replacement. I went back and forth between Wine Enthusiast and New Air especially for the dual temperature zone, capacity and compactness of the unit. This is a compressor based unit and is going to get noisier on hot days. Build quality - Just like my last unit, the interior looks exactly the same. The back has the compressor exposed. That is where the noise comes from. Storage capacity - you can store 32 bottles easily in this fridge. I have a couple of magnums in the bottom. Recommended location - Garage or somewhere you don't mind noise pollution. I had originally kept it indoors and moved it to my garage this past weekend. Customer service - I reached out to Wine Enthusiast for repair options for my old fridge. They were not only responsive (within 24 hours), they shared wine fridge repair technicians near my neighborhood.

Does its job well; noisy operation.
The dual-temp wine fridge looks nice, has good rack spacing, and keeps wine at serving temperature whether it is white or red. What I wasn't expecting is how gurgly it sounds when it is actively trying to cool. We've gotten used to it as somewhat of a white noise in the home now, but when people encounter it for the first time it definitely draws attention. When it isn't actively cooling, the fridge is pretty silent. The interior light helps when selecting the right bottle and provides a nice backdrop for those bottle in the "presentation" rack towards the bottom.

Sharp and functional
I love wine (who doesn't?), especially reds. However, living in a condo, it's hard to maintain reds at a good serving temperature. No basement to stick these bottles in. I had toyed with the idea of a wine fridge for awhile, and finally pulled the trigger earlier this year. I did some research and the two main features I wanted were: 1) quiet operation, and 2) dual zone. It seemed pointless to shell out for a single zone fridge where I could only house either reds or whites, but not both. This unit was billed as a quiet/silent wine fridge, and happy to report that it definitely meets those standards. I can best describe the noise as a white noise / slight hum. Enough to know that it's running, but not enough to be distracting. The temperature zones are great - I've got reds on top, whites/rose on the bottom. In terms of design, the top section (reds) has the capability to store wines both lying flat, as well as standing up (2 bottles max). This is great because you can keep the wines flat for longer term storage, but if you have a vacuum wine stopper you can theoretically open a bottle, plug it back with the vacuum stopper, and then put it back in the wine fridge while standing up - keeping it fresh and drinkable for at least another week. Finally - the design is very sleek / modern. Looks great in a living room. Very happy with my purchase, and would recommend it to anyone who is like me - not a wine connoisseur but who is simply looking to make the most of their wines.

Great wine refrigerator
The wine fridge is as advertised and fully suited for my purposes. Dual zone flexibility and the bottom shelf accommodates oversized bottles.

6 months and noise noise noise
I've had the fridge for about 6 months. I really love the look of the outdoor which has a slightly mirrored effect. And I love the dual-zone temperature and the display rack on the bottom for 3 bottles. However, the machine has started to get noisier and noisier with each passing month. The fridge itself turns itself on and off about ever couple of minutes. So it is cycling on and off frequently. Every time it cycles, there is a click and throughout the cycle, there is a constant rattle sound with an occasional buzz-zap sound. When I first heard the buzz sound, I called the manufacturer and they told me it was normal. They even sent me a sound clip of the sound they had previously recorded as normal. But it is pretty obnoxious honestly. I like the fridge but I have low confidence that it will last based on the sounds it is making. And the sounds are so annoying that I might get rid of it anyway.

Nice wine cooler
It is advertised, dual-zone control which works as intended, holds 30 bottles easily, looks nice. I've only had it for two weeks so long-term performance is impossible to determine at this time. Would buy it again.
