HydroGlyde Sliding Bath Bench with Cutout Seat and Extra Long Travel, Perfect for tub to Toilet transfers (Blue)

Much stronger and easier to slide than I expected.

It removes a lot of the risk in moving into the shower. Wish the cutout seat went all the way back. It does have padding. The seat slides very easily after unlocking it at either end.

My husband has ALS and this is the 4th shower chair we have tried. It works great!! Very good quality, slides easily, padded seat. I did have to order the taller legs for him from the company, but they work great. For as long as it is, it is very sturdy. We love it.

Needed a chair that would extend far enough to safely transfer my wife out of the wheelchair. This is the largest bench I could find and it is worth every penny!

Great product. Works well.. The only suggestion I would add is that the chair be able to rotate to make it easier for people to get in and out of the chair

Two instructions sheets about the size of a post card come with instructions. Specifics are left off, parts are not identified, steps are skipped. Maybe they could put a two sided 8 /12" x 11" sheet with proper instructions. The tubing I put together could not go onto the tubing the chair was attached too. I called the customer support number included on the instructions. After a wait, I spoke to a person who said the support techs were all busy but If I left my name and number they'd call me very soon. That was 6 days ago. No call. I finally figured out they shipped two frames. The extra long frame that needed to be put together. That's what I bought it for. But then they send a short frame which the seat is attached to. I finally realized I had to take the seat off the short frame and place it on the long frame I assembled. Why didn't instructions mention two frames and the need to remove the seat?? I like the frame very much but I needed it immediately to assist a person and it took days to figure it out myself. So, that's the reason for the low score.

However, the price is way too steep, thanks to insurance which my mother in law did not have. However for her safety she made the deep sacrifice on her fixed income.

The hydroGlyde sliding bench did not meet our expectations. The back of seat is too low, seat is not wide nor long enough and hand grip should be on both sides of seat.
