Cute pictures, but .

Easy to do yet detailed. Hours of fun.

These drawings are great, but tend to seem redundant. The book also has all the pages repeated. So you get every one - twice. I’d like it if there were more variations of these exquisite homes and shops. Possibly city streets or neighborhoods less trees inside the homes. Otherwise I think it’s a great concept. Fun and interesting.

I adore that there are 2 copies of each image to color. My daughter and I have been doing it together and it has been the most wonderful experience. I'll do one and leave it in her room, she does one and returns it to me. We admire each other's color choices and see how different our styles are and yet... they're both lovely in their own way. HIGHLY recommend.

Overall its a nice coloring book and good value for price. The paper is decent quality and images are one sided so no worries about bleed through destroying. The only disappointment is that images are somewhat repetitive. They are all different but kinda the same. Also, its more of a cartoonist steampunk then I would have like but it is what it is. There are 25 pages with a second set of same images for a total of 50 pages. See pics for details.

I liked it and it was very detailed but most of the pictures were the same

First, I love the art!! Very cute and unique. I can see how some say it's repetitive but I think that's fun because I can use different color schemes to see what they look like. So I'm not bothered by that too much. But the reason for my missing two stars is the paper. I definitely can't use my ohuhu or copic markers. They'll not only bleed through but destroy the thin paper. Even using colored pencils, I have to be mindful when I'm burnishing the paper so that I don't accidentally rip or destroy it. I love the art but really wish the paper was similar to what I have in my Kirby Rosanes, Johanna Basford or my Joseph Catimbang coloring books. Also, I use Gamsol on top of my colored pencils to create a paint like texture but I'm not sure I'll be able to do that with this very thin paper, so I won't get the final result I'm looking for. I hope the author/artist sees this because I'd pay the extra few dollars for better paper. Overall it's a cute book with fun art but the paper needs quite a boost in quality.

I really like this book. Some of the pictures are quite detailed and then others are simple. Pictures are one-sided on create space paper which does not bother me. Author has included in this book a second set of pages which gives you the option to use different medium or cut out one set and scan to print on medium of your choice. Very happy with purchase and looking forward to adding color to these beautiful illustrations!

Very detailed 50 drawings of cute houses that can transport you to a world of fantasy. Paper is thin however it still a nice and inspiring book to color in.The delivery was problematic, it was late "which's ok" but, the books inside the cardboard parcel were humid and deformed, it was extremely wavy, I pressed it for days but, it still wavy. It's upsetting. :(

Dieses Malbuch ist viel mehr als nur ein Buch zum Ausmalen. Jede Seite erzählt ihre eigene Geschichte. Angeregt durch den Titel jedes Blattes läuft die Imagination sofort los. Es gibt eine Drachen-Aufzucht-Station, verschiedene Dschungel-Häuser und einen viktorianischen Palast. Ich entdeckte ein Pool-Gebäude, in dem man in schwebender Höhe mit dem Boot fahren kann, und ein besiedelbares Schneckenhaus. Bei jedem Durchblättern bin ich hingerissen von den witzigen Ideen und der wunderschönen, detaillierten Ausführung.Die Seiten haben auf der Rückseite eine weiße Fläche, man kann die Bilder also auch ohne Verlust heraustrennen und rahmen. Besonders sinnvoll ist auch, dass alle Bilder doppelt vorkommen: So können zwei Kinder ihre jeweils eigene Vorstellung malen, oder man setzt selbst die Zeichnung nochmal in anderen Farben um.Ich hatte die Bücher (es gibt noch ein weiteres über Piraten) für meine Patenkinder gekauft. Aber jetzt behalte ich sie doch lieber selber, ich kann mich einfach nicht davon trennen.. Ich glaube, ich kaufe beide einfach nochmal.

Papel muito mao. a segunda metade do livro é repetida. os desenhos do artista são chatos. sombra desenhada com muita ousadia.

Das Cover sieht so gut aus wie hier dargestellt und das Buch war gut gebunden und generell schön gestaltet. Wenngleich der Stil nicht unbedingt meins war (bzw. wäre ein bisschen Abwechslung einfach schön gewesen), sehen die Motive gut aus - nur war es in den meisten Fällen irgendwie kein Steampunk? Da habe ich etwas anderes erwartet. Hier und da gibt es mal ein Zahnrad, und zwei oder drei Motive würde ich auch schon als Steampunk einordnen, aber den Rest ... eher nicht. Viele der Häuser würde ich eher Fantasy zuordnen, zumal es auch viel Natur darauf gibt. Also kein schlechtes Buch - aber irgendwie das Thema verfehlt. Steampunk-Fans werden vermutlich nicht allzu begeistert sein.
