It's so easy to setup, literally take it out of all the packaging and plug it in. There is a paper-like scent bag included that keeps the device smelling good during shipping - don't confuse that with the scent disc that's wrapped in a foil-like bag. The scent disc can be inserted in a little cage that's on the underside of the lid. Mine came with a clean/laundry scent and while it does smell like clean laundry, it's way too strong for me. It's not a bad smell!! Just super strong for my preference.It works great, heats up blankets in like 15 minutes. Does fit 2 of the 'oversized' towels. The device does give the fabric a bit of a metallic smell when it's done (without using the scent disc), but it's not overpowering or 'bad' per-say, just noticeable. I imagine that won't be as prominent as time goes on and it's used more.The inside metal does get very hot, of course. So just be careful when removing things. I keep a fist-full bunched up at the top in the middle when I put stuff in so grabbing it later is easy.I've also used it to warm up my clothes/socks - but if you do that make sure there's no metal (zippers/buttons/etc) because those would obviously get very hot.

I first encountered this towel warmer at an AirBnb that I stayed at. I had never used one before.It has one button to push to turn the unit on. You know it's "on" by the lit up red ring around the button. There is also a safety red light that stays on to remind you that the interior surface is hot.This will house 2 XL bath towels that are rolled up. It thoroughly heats up the towels well. I would say the towel will retain it's warmth for at least 30-45 seconds after removing it from the unit.We use this year round, even in the summer. We just don't leave the towel in as long so it's not as hot. But in the winter, this is a total game changer! I hate being cold when I get out of the shower. I also use a squeegee to wipe down the shower before I get out. I pull this out of the unit and wrap it around me to keep me cozy warm while I'm doing that.The downside is that if you place a slightly damp (from not drying out the night/use before), the heat can produce a slight smell on the towel. If a towel is left in there too long, it will completely dry the towel, but also leave a small odor in the unit. I just prop the lid open after I turn it off to prevent this from remaining in the unit.I have never purchased the aroma circles that you can attach to the underside of the lid. So I can't say how that part works.It has a slick interior that makes wiping down/sterilizing a snap.The lid handle is made of faux wood so it would get damaged with repeated exposure to a wet hand when reaching for the towel inside. It's attractive and is of good quality.I liked it so much that we purchased another one for our guest bathroom.I would highly recommend this towel warmer!

It works great while it is working .Unfortunately it started acting up before the year was up and the button only worked sporadicaly . i don't expect things to last forever but the button started not turning on but would randomly come on . It really makes the towels nice and warm. My husband bought me a sharper image to replace this one but it didn't heat the towels up at all so I returned it .

Bought this as a birthday gift for my 10yr old son. I never thought I would say this but it is BY FAR the BEST GIFT EVER!! Every home should have one. It’s a warm towel after every shower. It’s the feeling you get at a Day Spa that makes you feel pampered.The quality is great. It’s lightweight and easy to use. It’s both functional and aesthetically pleasing. So pretty. MUST HAVE!!

I got this as a Christmas gift for my wife and she absolutely loves it. She uses it every night. This was 100% worth every penny and it gets used daily. Even when my wife is away on travel I use it for myself. Just plug it in, put your towels in and turn it on. By the time you finish showering you have nice warm towels. It can comfortably fit 3 towels in there. This is by far one of the best products I've bought.

***UPDTE*** I received my replacement and it works wonderfully! My towels get amazingly warm in under 2 minutes!! The customer service is outstanding! Great communication and willingness to make sure their customers are satisfied! ❤️**Update: customer service is refreshing. I was offered a replacement and am awaiting the delivery. Will do an update once item arrives.**Seems like the more I use it the less hot my towels are. I’m not sure if it’s defective or something but would recommend putting your towel in at lease 15-20 mins before showerI’m somewhere between 3 & 4 stars
