Q: The sizing chart from Amazon doesn't convert to petite, small, medium... Will a petite be the correct size for a 32A?

I'm small in built with a B cup. I've been ordering S from Cosabella & these bras fit me very well. I've never tried P. So I can't say for sure that P fits a 32A or vice versa but I reckon that it should be close. Don't take my words for it tho !

Q: Would someone who is a 38 b be be able to wear this? would the large be too big for a b cup?

I think it should be ok, but a C cup wouldn't. I put on some weight and my lovely collection of Cosabellas is now waiting for me to lose it. Too much breast puts strain on the straps and then it gets uncomfortable and sort of leaks out round the edges. They are really best for the less curvy lady.

Q: What does "petite" mean in comparison to "small?"

Petite is referring to a smaller rib cage and overall smaller framed people

Q: Is there any padding? Does this give you any shape?

It's a bralette: no padding or lining. It's lace and the photo is a little misleading
