Classic 3.5" Paring Knife, Black

I've had paring knifes from the cheap to the expensive. This just fits perfectly in my hand. Even if I'm holding the blade to cut the root out of carrots etc. Super sharp, and easy to sharpen. Gifted the all the other paring knives. Getting another one. Perfect design IMO. Some things are just worth it.

I sadly lost my well used and much loved Wusthoff paring knife. After searching my kitchen repeatedly and waiting a month for it to magically reappear, I decided to bite the bullet and buy a replacement. I tried to convince myself to buy a less expensive knife, but knew nothing could replace the knife I lost. So, yes, I bought another Wusthoff. Perfect weight, fits my hand so well, and cuts and pares like a dream. I am happy in my kitchen again. Now if I could just figure out what in the world happened to my lost knife….

Classic Wusthof is the only way to go for our kitchen. Sharp blades. Handles fit nice in the hands. These knives are extremely durable.

The three most important kitchen knives are a good chopping knife, bread knife, and paring knife. This is one of the best paring knife on the market and therefore will always be one of my three most used knives. It is very sturdy (as far as kitchen knives go - don't try prying lids open or other such nonsense with it) and will last a life time if you take care of it. It's size is perfect for a paring nice and all the untitle jobs it does in the kitchen. It's ergonomically design makes it easy to work with for long periods of time without fatigue.

I visited a chef friend who had this knife in his kitchen, and I fell in love with it & was consumed with jealousy. Saw it last week on sale, and got one of my own. Hands down the best knife I've ever owned, and girl, I'm using it for EVERYTHING: slicing roast beef, quartering limes, dicing onion, dicing pears for cakes . This thing is crazy sharp and easy to use. I want to buy one for my sisters, but one is always cutting herself because we grew up with dull knives, so maybe just the older sis :) .... SHARP.

This is my second wusthof paring knife. It is pricey by comparison, but I loved the first one so much that I took the plunge and bought a replacement when mine was misplaced while we had family visitors helping in the kitchen... I looked everywhere, in every drawer, etc., to no avail. Of course, two weeks after I bought this one, I found it, upside down, in my counter crock with the cooking stainless spoon and spatulas. Alas.... Now I have two great paring knives.

Wustof makes reliable, sharp knives that fit well in my hand for maximum control.

Somehow, our original paring knife disappeared. Weird. Anyway, hubby just had to have what was closest to our original set's handle look, and the classic fit the bill. It is much heftier than then original and incredibly sharp. It cuts through things like they are butter! For a tiny knife, it is very expensive, but hubby would have no substitutes. I am sure it will last our lifetime (if it doesn't walk off again).

Westhoff macht gute Messer. Day kleine Ding ist jetzt schon über ein Jahr bei mir im Einsatz und ich bin immer noch glücklich. Nur schärfen musste ich es selber da es für mich nicht scharf genug ankam. Ich hab aber auch hohe Ansprüche 😊

Estoy muy contento. Una gran herramienta de cocina.

Utilisé chaque jour, c'est vraiment l'ustensile le plus utilisé dans la cuisine. Après des mois, il coupe toujours autant. L'entretien est facile. Bref je ne peux que le perdre et si ça arrive je rachète le même, même marque les yeux fermés.
