I bought this set for some old K2 skates I had. The straps fit like they were custom made for my skates. The holes lined up perfectly with the originals and the length/width of the straps was the same as the originals. I drilled out the original rivets fairly easily and the new straps with screws and nuts were very fast and easy to install. Saved me from buying new skates and worked perfectly. Highly recommended!

My 7 yr old wanted to try roller skating, so I dug around the garage and found my 15 year old Rollerblades. Well, no surprise that the bindings on my ancient skates that I've carelessly stashed in the garage would catastrophically fail due to dry rot at the roller rink resulting in a wipeout.I thought I'd give these replacement bindings a try... seemed like a low cost gamble. Happy to say, I won!All you need is a screwdriver and a drill to install. Simply drill out the rivet from the inside, then replace with the new set and simply screw it in place. Took all of 5 minutes. The new strap is rock solid and easy to use. I only needed the strap so didn't replace the ratcheting part. And the new straps fit into the old ratchet just fine. Did a little test skate around the driveway and so far so good. If these fail, I'll come back and update this review.

I used this Clío to salvage an old set of rollerblades with broken straps. I had to grind a little off of the receiver side in order for these to fit the molded recess in the boots, but after that, they fit great and work well.

This was a great solution for my favorite part of blades. I've had my skates for about 7 years and the original strap had a bit of sun damage, heat damage, and normal wear and tear. Luckily this kit came with a full change of parts - I only replaced the broken strap and the new one fit JUST right. I much prefer the $10 fix than a 70-140 pair of new rollerblades.

I got a pair of replacement straps. One was fine, the other wouldn't hold in the buckle. The good strap held in both buckles. The ridges on the bad strap are shallower than on the good one. Most likely poor quality control. For 14.00 I expect better. Cannot recommend this product.

These straps took less than a couple minutes to install. The hardest part, which wasn’t that difficult, was to drill out the rivets from the old strap. The rivets for the new straps are great because they can be screwed in or out with a simple Phillips head screwdriver. Theses straps were a little wider than the older straps so they could not be hidden like the original, but that was not a big deal to me.

These buckles appear to be an almost exact dimensional copy of OEM K2 buckles. Unlike my original buckles, these ones have an additional button to lock the clasp in place. Rather than replacing the whole buckle, I have transplanted the strap from the new buckle to my original one by drilling out the rivets and then mushrooming the original rivet back in place. The new strap functions as expected. Will see if it lasts.

I ordered these for a set of Nike rollerblades I bought my daughter. The factory buckle broke off on her first attempt to try them as they were slightly used. They looked and appeared to be really well designed so I drilled out the existing rivets on the damaged buckle and installed the new one including the ratchet lock. Put them on the same way the old ones came off, however, it appears the ratchet lock is set backwards as it would not lock the strap down under pressure. Removed the ratchet lock flipped it around reinstalled it but had to secure the back to the skate with a zip tie. Locks well now but would be way more secure if the ratchet lock were reversed to lock the way I had originally mounted.
