Coleman 200-Quart XP H2O Marine Cooler , white

Worked great, filled with ice on Friday, went lobster fishing for the weekend and it still had ice in it on Monday evening when we came back. I know it was not a 7 day trip, but since we were in and out of it for 4 days, it was a good enough test for us. We are looking at buying at least one more of these as they hold a lot of ice and keep it for several days. I would imagine the ice would last longer if four people were not constantly opening the cooler in the hot California sun.

I purchased this cooler to use on my cargo carrier behind my van. It held our excess luggage as well as frozen items (I had them separated in a plastic bin inside the cooler. It kept things frozen on a 10 hour trip in the middle of July from Ohio to North Carolina. It claims to keep foods frozen for three days and I believe that if I had it packed with all frozen items, it would. If you need a huge cooler, I can highly recommend this one.

I was looking for a big cool I was not disappointed very big. It has 4 strong tie down handles on the Corners.

Purchased to use as a brining vessel for large animal cooking. It works perfectly, and the included drain is an added bonus for draining the brining solution.I imagine for parties, you could easily keep enough beverages for at least 50 people in here - it's that big.Oh, and filled, it is a 4 man lift. It's weighs a ton when filled so make sure you have it where you want it prior to filling.

Junk! Why make a 200 Qt cooler and provide handles that can't come close to handling that weight? Both handles broke on day 1, after filling the cooler 2/3 with ice for fishing. Both handles broke in same exact place - weak design! No way you can manage that kind of weight with 1/2" plastic tab to support handle. I also ordered the smaller coleman with same exact handles, so all coleman did is use same handles for this cooler and one half the size - zero engineering effort. They designed beefy side grip handles into the corners - why the heck not design a handle that is reasonably engineered to support weight? It may HOLD 325 cans inside, but you'd never be able to move it with the handles. As well, when I went to drain the water, instead of the exterior cap loosening, the entire plug assembly came apart! Now all the water is leaking and I can't get to the bottom to re-assemble the plug unit. Inexpensive cooler, cheaply made.

Great cooler...shopped around and this was best price. 3 stars for sturdiness because I don't think the handles look like they'll hold up.

Over all the cooler is well made and very solid. The only thing that I can find fault with is the food tray is very flimsy and will not stay secure inside the cooler. IT WILL END UP ON ITS SIDE. Would I buy another one? Yes I would.
