Thank you Abba
This book has literally opened my eyes, made my heart feel like bursting open with love and hope, security and faith in my father whom while reading this, I had an overwhelming urge to pray and ask Him for a personal name to call him to make me truly feel as it I was talking to my father, ..... I kept reading and came to the part about Abba Father and I almost yelled out, I jumped up and ran to the living room and had to show and tell my husband. He answered me just like that , I had no idea it was in the next few pages. I am greatly loved and highly favored by my Abba!!!! Thank you Jesus .

You underestimate the power of your beliefs
This is a very personable book. Prince has a way of writing that makes it seem like he's just across the table from you in your favorite coffee shop. Not many writers can do that really well.I was some way through the book before it occurred to me to look him up online. His church is actually in Singapore, though you wouldn't know it to look at him. He's also older than you might imagine: 50, last time I checked.A friend of mine recommended it, and I must admit that I was a bit cautious. There's far too much of a health-and-wealth attitude in Christianity today. (With the exception of Enoch and Elijah, I know of no Godly people who have never died; and a comparatively few, even in the US, are as wealthy as most of the tele-evangelists claim we could become. That said, Americans are better off than at least 80% of the world's population.)Since I trust this friend a lot, I bought the book; and I'm glad that I did. It's another one of those that I keep rereading. There's a lot of truth in what he says, and I think that we all can benefit from changing the way we think.I rated it at four stars instead of five because he continuously refers to himself. That may seem like a peculiar criticism, so I'll explain myself a bit further. He's written several books - I co-wrote one, and I know other authors personally. But the difference between us and Prince is that we don't go on and on about what we said in them. We simply offer our opinion on a topic, and then if people show more interest or ask us where we got our information, then we elaborate a bit. But a lot of interest has to be shown before we say, "Take a look at my book." In fact, I tell people not to buy mine because the price is so high. Instead, I offer to help them get the information they need to obtain it through inter-library loan.Prince, on the other hand, constantly refers to his, and it makes the writing awkward. I'm paraphrasing here, but he'll refer to a letter that someone has sent him like this: "So-and-so wrote to me and said that she had read this-that-and-the-other-thing in my book - and then he names it. It gets a bit old reading that sort of expression all the time. Why not just say, "So-and-so wrote about this topic"? And then comment on it.So I think that you'll benefit from reading this book, though you may be a bit put off by the incessant reminders of what he has written, and what of it others have read.

Right Believing: Worth Reading
This is Prince's best book to date. Both Unmerited Favor and Destined to Reign had some excellent points, but other parts were really bad. (Note the Destined to Reign Daily Devotional is also excellent.) This book, Right Believing, is far more mature. Of course, all of his books are filled with scripture and analysis of scripture, which is Prince's usual form. He also has many testimonials in the text. However, he does not seem to need to twist the testimonials and water down the message of the Word.I've also recently read Break Out by Joel Osteen. The message in that is EXTREMELY similar. Osteen also relies on scripture and testimonials. In Osteen's case, the "real life" testimonials tend to be obviously twisted around to try to fit the Biblical message into a pop psychology framework. I'd originally read Osteen's book because so many people say he's a false teacher and I wanted to judge his message for myself. I'm still not convinced that the heavy charge of "false teacher" is valid, but he does use a great deal of leavening that damages the Biblical message. I suspect that Osteen has gotten much of his current message from Prince, and many other preachers are now also borrowing from Prince regularly. So, in comparison, Prince has some areas where he truly excels. For one thing, he is brilliant at showing Jesus in the Old Testament. (Right believing does use the Balaam example and Joseph, but omits the fabulous teaching on the bronze serpent, which I've only found on one of Prince's DVDs.) He frequently denounces the use of pop psychology and new age mysticism. Everything revolves around the Father (Abba), Jesus (the ONLY way to salvation) and the Holy Spirit (speaking in tongues and as the Comforter/Teacher) in the Word. There are still some problems in his teachings, particularly when he gets into the "Fatherly" role of God and when he gets into gender issues. However, in in his areas of weakness, Prince is maturing. There has only been one perfect preacher--so, I think we can a few imperfections in Prince as long as he recognizes and denounces the truly false teachings that currently flood our world. There are hints that Prince could fall into the Osteen trap--watering down the message just in case "right believing" doesn't work for somebody. However, for now, his teaching is the best in town.

Hit the nail
God made things so simple that He said that even little children would get it! However, men have complicated it to the point we need to go back to teachings "hitting the nails" to go back to simple truths. Why? Right beliefs leads to right thoughts, emotions, actions... If we hurt in our emotions, it is due to a wrong belief somewhere... Take hold of this book if you have been struggling with confusion. God loves us and made it easy for us to be free from fear, guilt and to be crowned instead with joy and with peace!

All about the grace of God
For a long while, I have been puzzling over the unpardonable sin. Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit didn't provide an answer that gave peace. I decided in the end that it was to die without accepting Christ. On page 170 0f this book, Joseph Prince illustrates that same belief.
