Solid but with some flaws.
For the $25 I paid, this pack is a solid buy. But at the full retail price of $45 I would rate it two stars and go with the REI Flash 18 instead.I bought this pack because I wanted a jack of all trades- something comfortable and featured enough to use on day hikes, decent looking enough to not look out of place in urban environments, and packable so I could use it as a stowaway daypack for travel or long backpacking trips. This pack works well for the first two uses I mentioned. As others have said, it annoyingly doesn't have a clip for a hydration reservoir, but other than that it's good to go. It's well constructed and has a comfortable ventilated back panel and shoulder straps. The pack only has one sewn on logo, there's no useless silly looking writing or neon detailing, so it looks normal when worn around the city. The stowability is where this pack falls short, which is ironic seeing as it has it has "stowaway" in its name. This pack's backpanel has a thin, but nonremovable and fairly dense and incompressible foam built into it. This is good in use, but terrible for storage. It doesn't pack nearly as small as the ugly New Outlander daypack I was hoping to replace, and I would never want to take it on a backpacking trip. The flaws in this pack are a real shame, since I'm pretty sure they could be easily rectified- the REI Flash 18 has a hydration loop and removable foam backpanel. This pack would be even better than the Flash 18 if those features were added, since the Flash has a bit of the unnecessary writing and logo that's common in outdoor brands. As is, if all you're looking for is a lightweight versatile daypack, this a solid purchase for $25. If the stowaway feature is important at all, get the Flash 18.

hmm nice
well it doesn't fold down into its own storage like the little back pack or chinch pack but Im glad .. its just a very lightweight rucksack, Very well made I'm sure this will serve me well for many years, mako is the colorway I got I suggest this one it is the coolest one, online all the straps look black to me but they are dark grey like they are supposed to be for this colorway.. I am pleasantly surprised again

If you are a big guy this backpack might look a little funny if you plan to actually use it on your back. I was going to use it for an easy way to carry a 15.4in laptop attached to my other suitcase but it didn't work out well. Good quality tho

Cool little pack...
Great little bag to go hiking with without the stress of carrying a heavier backpack...I'm not in the military but the color and pattern is cool...
