The fitting and wiring of the Neco unit was very easy. I was quoted over £700 by a regional company to replace my old unit and I’m so glad I purchased this one and fitted it myself.

Looks identical to my current controller, but totally different inside and didn’t work my door. Returned, had to pay postage

Part arrived as expected well packaged. Instructions were a bit vague and conflicting advice on internet. Contacted supplier and they were very helpful. Works great, would recommend. Straight replacement even screw holes were in same place.

I liked that the remotes worked straight out of the box. Quite straightforward to install. I would like to find out from the supplier if existing photoelectric cells can be used, as currently a safety feature means you have to hold the down button on the remote to close the door. Other than that very pleased, considering I was quoted over £800 by a garage door firm to replace.

Seems to be an excellent replacement unit but the colour of the wires for the safety beam are different. My old unit has a black wire rather than a yellow, other wires the same. Unfortunately my old unit circuit board doesn’t label the functions of all the terminals.Is there a uk representative of Neco I can contact?

I replaced the controller with like to like as the first controller gave excellent service. The company that provided the controller also answered my queries and gave sound advice
