Brutal Kunnin': Warhammer 40,000

I was on the fence about this book until I read MBs other works. Gave it a shot and was hooked from the first chapter. Excellent is this guys standard!

I've been an audible subscriber for many years but only got very into Warhammer 40k recently. This is BY FAR the next audio performance I've ever heard on the app, and the two factions focused (mostly as there is some Chaos aligned) are executed phenomenally. If you want to get a proper feel for the alien and human comic relief, this is it. Highly recommend.

Utterly brilliant and breakneck fun, following a group of orks as they bash and trash a Mechanicus world. Mike Brooks plays a neat trick in making the Mechanicus just as funny as the orks (in a dryer way) and it's all evocatively acted by the reader. One of my favorite Black Library books in a long time.
