Since I started putting a good squirt of GAC in my paints, along with the pouring medium, I have not had any further cracks in my art!

This is the secret sauce

I just tried a swipe pour using this stuff as the only pouring medium used in my painting. I used Penetrol as my cell activator, which usually makes gorgeous cells, and absolutely none formed using this medium. The swipe was a total disaster, with no cells or lacing. I ended up rescuing the failed painting which is the painting shown in the photo.This stuff is very fluid, and would work best using soft or heavy body paints. If you use fluid acrylic (not the ready to pour kind) your paint will be way too thin to pour. One of the paint colors I used was fluid acrylic, and I had to add some Golden gel medium to thicken it up to the proper pour consistency.I am going to try again and mix some Floetrol in with the GAC, and hope for better results. So far, Floetrol used alone as the medium wins hands-down, and is much, much, cheaper than this.So, having said all that, if you want cells in your pour paintings, this will not give you any, even mixed with cell activator.

This product is awesome! Makes your paints flow better and colors are more vibrant and dry prettier. Won’t paint without it.

The GAC 800 is the best product I have used to prevent cracking or crazing in my acrylic paintings.
