Buddy Lee Replacement Jump Rope Cord

I LOVE these jump ropes! the fact you can replace the rope makes them even better. the handles are so smooth and well made.

Rope is a little thicker than the black one which slows it down just enough for me to get a good rhythm. Awesome rope for the ropemaster handles.

I bought a weighted Jessica Simpson jump rope at Ross that I cut too short. This replacement rope worked perfectly and even matches better with the handles.

Perfect fit to replace the "rooe" on Buddy Lee's "Aero-Speed" model. Just unscrew the old one, then screw in the new one and trim to fit. And yes, this product has a very different feel from speed ropes made from cable, boxing ropes made from leather, etc. So what works perfectly for some might not be right for others.

Bought original set w aero handles in 2012 and was lightly used until stay home order when it became heavily used. Should not have used on concrete but when we did it wore out. Replacement rope is not identical to original after comparing side by side but just as light and pretty much had the same feel. Will now use on carpet only. Would buy again. More cost-effective than buying original set w handles.

I bought this as a replacement rope for a weighted set of handles. My other rope broke and the description said it would fit. Yes, it fit but after only using it for about a week, the rope snapped. Cheap piece of plastic rope. Better off buying a whole new jump rope for the money. Don't waste $$ on this.

I love the Buddy Lee Aero Speed Jump Rope, and I am even comfortable paying the price--which is much more than any other jump rope I've ever purchased. When buying a replacement cord, though, five bucks is definitely too much, especially when you add in shipping costs. It's a piece of plastic very similar to the ones that come on those two-dollar jump ropes you can get at the dollar store, but it has a hollow center--which is what allows the Buddy Lee Jump Rope to be screwed on. If it wasn't for the hollow center, I would just buy the two-dollar rope and use it to screw onto my Buddy Lee handles.

Used this BL rope for some time now. Quite tough for PVC rope but a tendency to kink quite badly. Never could get it straight. However this didn't really make that much difference when in use. Last two replacement ropes purchased are noticeably softer lighter and more limp and stay totally straight. Too early to say if this will mean less durability. Being used to the heavier previous rope type also meant it took me some time to get used to the behaviour of the lighter rope. Too early to say which rope is best. Will comment next time I buy a replacement. Update - 20/04/2014 still using this same replacement rope. I can't believe how long this rope is lasting! I hope I can get this type of rope again, if this one ever wears out!

I have many ropes, and Buddy Lee's are among the best there is. I stupidly cut the cord of my most recent purchase too short, so I needed a replacement. I ordered this item on 4th January and received a dispatch confirmation on the 6th. When it hadn't arrived by the 14th I hotly complained to the seller. Explaining that they had been let down by their delivery agent (the scourge of small companies trying to make a living on Amazon), and apologizing profusely, they refunded my original P&P charges and sent me a replacement rope immediately. They then followed up by email with tracking details for the new agent, who delivered the next day. Now that they have resolved their delivery issues you can be 100% confident of buying these excellent ropes from this very friendly and helpful seller.

Was getting a replacement rope and this was all I could find. Rope feels lighter than the original and changes shape while skipping. Can't get back in step at all. Not worth it. Had better luck with junk ropes that only last 3 months

Buddy Lee Jump Ropes are the best that I've ever used. I've been using them for about three years now and have bought replacement rope cords when I've felt that I've needed to alter the length of the cord that I've been using, from a shorter one to a longer one. I've only bought them for this purpose, none of the cords have broken from wear, despite regular use. This cord is the standard rope cord from Buddy Lee Jump ropes. I'm 6 foot two and using this rope without any anjustment means that the rope handles come up to my shoulders. If you're taller than me and want a shoulder height rope measurement, you'll need to order the extra long rope cord.
