Although my son has a lot of experience with putting these together, the parts can be pretty delicate and so I was delighted to find out that there is a place you can write to to get replacement parts. It took a little while, since the company is in Ukraine, but they actually managed to get us the replacement piece the first week of the war. This made it so special for both of us and I am absolutely delighted with this company.

My fiancé loves this thing, took a while to put together and needs some waxing once assembled. But once you work in the wax it works beautifully. Planning on getting a card holder for my brother in law for Christmas

I just built this yesterday. It was a little more difficult to physically put together than I thought. Make sure to sand the edges of all of the connection pieces a little more than you may think necessary. Each one is slightly too big to fit through the necessary hole. The most important part is the gear mechanism. Make sure it moves freely and has plenty of wax on it before continuing. The instructions are just pictures/diagrams. Some of the diagrams could use a little more detail (especially the rubber band). A good construction, but needs a few improvements.It also comes with a “Universal Game Counter.” Make sure to wax each piece before putting them together or it won’t move/adjust.

It's not practical as an actual dice carrying case -- I would imagine a hard drop could break it-- but it looks fantastic on the table and the mechanical action of opening it is impressive.

It’s very aesthetic to the eyes and very practical. You could put all sorts of small things in it!

Got this as a gift for a friend of mine who is a STEM student. He is 17 and loved putting this together.

I had one of the worst building experiences for this kit. The slivers that held the parts in the runner were too thick and broke off pieces of the parts even when being very careful and going at the slivers with a hobby knife before trying to pop them off the board. I had to superglue all of those parts and some of them were on connecting joints. The parts were also way too hard to fit into the holes even with waxing. I think you guys need to re-evaluate the engineering tolerances on this kit. This experience is in stark contrast to the UGEARS deck box where it was a much better building experience. Only 3 pieces had a chip and everything fit together great.

Great gift for people who like to put things together. But not very durable.

Super finniky to build and a huge amount of hand strength required even after liberal waxing. The box is built but will not open and overall it was a waste of a purchase
