Cute and functional! They came packaged in styrofoam and a box to keep them from breaking. They’re great! Just make sure to not place them at too much of an angle or some of the water will pool in the mushroom top.

These are super cute! I got them mainly for looks. Seems like others have had problems with the water not staying in the globe very long. I didn’t have that problem. Possibly depends on your soil.I bottom watered my plants thoroughly first. I followed the instructions for filling it up using the tap directly to the globe. Then securing cloth (I used a cut out piece of an old sock) to the globe opening. I wet that cloth and used a chopstick to make a hole first so I could put the globe in. Don’t force it in. And don’t push all the way to the bottom where it’ll touch the bottom. Make sure it stays suspended in soil.These are good for small or medium plants. I have them in a large 12 and 10 in pot and probably need at least two each per pot.So far water is slowly coming out over the past few days. I see air bubbles come up as water gets displaced.These are a bit small and fragile. Overall I am glad I bought them.

I used this and was away for 5 nights. It definitely worked but was not good for a long stay. I wasn’t able to record while I was away to see how it watered (whether slow drip or fast) but when I came back my plant was dried out.

I got lazy and excited to use these right away, so I initially inserted them into my pots without wrapping a cloth around the base. This was a mistake, as dirt and soil got sucked into the globes.It was fairly easy to clean them out, and, after using them as-directed, they look lovely and keep my plants happy! I will definitely be looking to purchase more as my plant collection grows.

Returned it, because it appears it needs a cloth and rubber band to make it work. I just don't like the idea of messing with it, like trying to stick a piece of rag into soil. It should be "plug n play".
