Seller exchanged battery after short shelf life so appreciated that effort from them

Bought as a replacement battery; followed instructions of allowing battery to cool for 30 minutes before recharging each time. Will no longer charge after less than 5 months of use.

The plastic quality isn’t as nice as Dyson’s but the battery lasts quite well. Very happy!

This battery was used very little in the time since we bought it because my wife had purchased a newer Dyson and I held onto the older one and bought this battery for it. My wife noticed that the blue lights were not on at the charging station last weekend so we did our due diligence and verified that the outlet it was plugged into was good. I went back to the old battery and it worked in the charger. Looks like we are out the frustration plus the $40+ dollars of the purchase. Incidentally, it was also a poor fit in the charger, slightly larger case than the OEM battery. Thankfully we hadn't recycled the old battery so at least I can still use the old Dyson battery until we find a more reliable replacement.

It was easy to install by unscrewing three screws. The longer operation time is what I expected and I am totally satisfied with the power.

Super easy to install, works as it should. I still needed to call the vacuum repair shop for a professional cleaning of my vacuum before it would work efficiently again, but overall it is working as it should. I haven't had this battery very long, so I will have to come back in a year or 3 to verify if it held up. Otherwise I just gave it a 3 star average for now.

The battery contains a control circuit. The circuit failed in the on position.
