Works great on my child’s spiral curls. Extra moisturizing. Smells great. I’ve also used it as a leave in conditioner by adding a small amount to a spray bottle and filling the rest with water and shaking to untangle their hair.

I was skeptical at first, but this conditioner is like a magic potion in a bottle. My hair was like “Why are we still doing this dry, frizzy thing?” and now it’s like “Hello, shiny and soft!” It tames the curls, the frizz, and even the inner diva that lives in my head. If my hair could write a thank-you note, it would be in cursive on a gold-embossed card.The texture? Silky. The smell? Like walking through a field of tropical flowers while the sun kisses your face. The results? Like someone gave my hair a VIP pass to the smooth club.Honestly, if I could bottle up the feeling of having perfect hair for one day, I would sell it alongside this conditioner. But since that’s not possible, I’ll just keep slathering this stuff on and pretending I woke up like this. Mixed Chick, you’ve changed the game. 10/10, would recommend to my frizz-prone, curl-loving, happy hair family

I love these hair products for my daughter! It keeps her hair moisturized and super soft ! We also use the leave in conditioner and some custard cream and it beautifully defines her curls and doesn’t get frizzy as quickly .ontop of leaves her hair smelling very good !

We love this product, and have purchased it several times. Our toddler is 2 years old now, but we've used it on him for about a year. He is Black and Japanese, and his hair is long with super tight corkscrew curls. If we use nothing in his hair, by the end of the day it is frizzy--if we picked it out, he could have a huge afro. We use this conditioner (all it takes is a tiny dollop, probably the size of a dime, or less) every time we wash his hair, about three times a week, and it makes combing through it a breeze. We also use it as a leave-in conditioner, applied after we wet his hair prior to styling--just wet, finger it through his hair (again, a tiny, tiny amount), and let it air dry, and it leaves him with the most beautiful, shiny, tight curls. Can't recommend this stuff enough for mixed hair!(On a side note, I myself am mixed--with more Japanese--and tried it on my own hair, but it, unfortunately, didn't have the same effect--which makes me think that the product probably will work for some and not as well for others, depending on the texture of the hair.)

This review is for the kids conditioner and the kids leave in conditioner.I absolutely love this product. I have been using it for about 3 years now but I usually but it at Target. Unfortunately, they stipped selling the kids stuff so I had to find another way of getting it. These are the ONLY products that work in my hair. I use a normal shampoo before using the conditoner. I use the prayer method when applying both products so I do not unravel the curls and I only rinse out about 50% of the kids conditioner. When I use the leave in I individual take a pea size amount and twist my baby hairs into curls along with using the prayer method for the rest of my head. The picture shows how my hair held up in 100 degree weather all day. My curls are fantastic! I have between 3a and 3b curls.

I had such high hopes for my little "mixed chick" but turned out disappointed. It is a good conditioner and really softened my daughter's hair but it DID NOT make combing any easier. I used the shampoo, conditioner and leave-in conditioner: this also did not improve frizz after day one. The tiny bottle was only good for four uses (my girl has long hair). This product is no different than any deep-conditioning product that you comb-through and wash out after 5-10 minutes (like the Ion brand you find at Sally's). Good luck! My search continues ...
