Really like this book. I have just bought it because my daughter has been struggling with her writing. I'm hoping this will help with her spelling and give her some ideas when she is writing stories. The first 350 pages are a dictionary which is well laid out. Certain words are explained in more detail with lots of beautiful illustrations. At the end is the thesaurus. It explains a some simple grammar e.g. suffixes, pronouns and prepositions with examples. Then lots of words with synonyms. Very well laid out with the words not in alphabetical order but by certain topics. E.g. pirates, cavemen bird sounds, travel words etc. At the end of the thesaurus there is an index if you are looking for a specific word.
