Just what I was looking for!
What I was looking for in a lantern: Something that put out a lot of light, had a long battery life, and pretty much indestructible. This light has an awesome battery life! Took it on a 3 day camping trip this past weekend, and used it on the high setting the entire time and never had to charge the battery. We used it a lot. My main purpose was to use it as a light above the table, and as you can see from the photo, it puts out a lot of light. (That was high setting in the photo) I unscrewed the top and took it off, and hung it upside down from the attached hook, as you can see in the second photo. We also took it to the beach and used it for hours fishing. Nice to not have to worry about sand or water ruining it. It is pricey, but worth it in my opinion. I was done with expensive propane lanterns that required propane tanks (or fuel) and mantles to buy that kept catching on fire for some reason. It is very small, but that's actually a plus. The only recommendation I would make to the company would be a compartment that you can put the USB charger in. I just keep mine tied around the clip that comes on it, so that works. Apparently you can charge your cell phone on it, but we didn't try out that feature. I am VERY happy with it. It's my new favorite thing.

great light
the battery life is amazing. the 1st initial charge took about 18 hours so keep that in mind when you charging this thing from 0 as its going to take a while. took 5 days of usage at 8 or more hours per day to get below 75% but above 50% so i'm sure it can go at least 10 days of 8hrs usage at full blast on a single charge without issues. it also have a charge indicator. i think it goes something like solid green until 50% then blinking green between 50 and 25% then blinking red under 25%.the price seem a bit high at 1st but you get what you pay for. it would have been nice to have stronger materials other than plastic for that price but it is what it is. it's still worth it.the wire provided for charging can actually hide under the battery cover. it's not made for that but its just enough to fit in there.brightness isn't the greatest. its 1000 lumens but i think it's more 800. however, while camping it makes things very visible so it's good in that area. the red blinking led when the light is off is a great addition. i know some find it annoying but it help locate the light when its off and its dark. happened to me so i appreciated that feature. overall i would definitely recommend this light for camping or for home as a backup light.

Probably the best camping lantern out there.
Bright light, I used parchment paper inside the lens to reduce the blinding light. The usb cable to charge these has a longer prong than the standard usb for reach, I tried a standard usb cable and it would not charge. (They should fix this.) The supplied usb cable will store in the bottom. It does not come with a charger but any usb charger will work. I haven't put the battery to test yet.. If it does not live upto the hype I will revise my review. Lithium batteries like to be used and need to be charged every 6 months or so. If you forget to maintain the battery it will die forever. The warranty will be void for storing a dead battery. Let's see if it will go 400 hrs on low. 16 days straight or so..Pros: Bright non flammable light. Compact yet still outperforms my old dual fuel lamps. The usb cable will store in the base. Long battery life.. 16 days on low. Waterproof. Hanging hooks.Cons: The weird usb c charging cable is unique.Staring directly at the light will hurt your eyes.. (use the parchment paper trick.)Lithium batteries have to be used and you can't forget about them for longer than 6-9 months.

Very bright light in a compact size
This lantern is much smaller than I thought it would be but it is very bright and I love the different level settings. It is very glaring on the highest setting so I wish the diffuser worked better. The option to take off the diffuser and hang it upside down for overhead lighting is a really great option and I can definitely see using this. My lantern does not have the little red location light so I may have a defective unit but I am happy not having it to be honest. The red light settings work well and I love having this for use in nature settings. Overall very happy but I have not tested how long a charge lasts on my unit so I may need to update my review. As folks have mentioned don’t loose your recharger cable.

Quality product
This is an especially well made product. It is small, light and powerful, with a long battery life. Lots of great features also. You can tell right away that it is well made. Even the instructions were way better than usual. It is more expensive than a lot of similar products, but I think worth it.

I NEEDED this!
I now have three of these. I go through routine power outages and my kids get scared when it’s dark. I have many different types of lantern lights but these are the ones that can illuminate a whole room. The long run time is great (I have sat without power for 12-18 hours). They are durable and work just as they say.

Recommend the Product, not the Customer Service
These lanterns are bright and the batteries last a long time between charging. Having said that, dealing with customer service/warranty is more problematic. The original lantern was replaced with a defective lantern and now I'm getting no response from the company's customer service about how to deal with the problem. Obviously, Quality Control at the factory needs to be addressed, but when a problem arises with the customer, it is expected that someone will respond to the request for help.
