For the most part, I bought this item because it was on sale. But, it does come in handy when a shorter pole extension is needed.

Nice intermediate length
Nice intermediate length allows flexibility to adjust so pole bottom contacts ground when pruner cutting thicker limbs. Also fits nicely crossways in car or pickup behind seats

Jameson is Quality
I am so glad Jameson sells there products through Amazon! It just makes everything easier for me as I buy alot of through Amazon because its convenient and easy.I ordered the FG-4' series mid extension for my pole saw. I needed the additional 4ft reach. The poles are of GREAT quality and MADE IN USA!!! I will be buying a FG-6' mid extension pole soon.

Great Pole Saws!
The following 5 items are all compatible and can be used in any combination:Jameson 13" Barracuda Tri-cut Saw Blade,Pole Saw Head, Use w/Mfr.No. FG-6, TP-14F4' Hollow Core Pole With Ferrules (by Jameson)Jameson JC6E Pruner Fiberglass Section Pole - 6 Feet, YellowJameson Fiberglass Sectional Pruner Pole With Foam Core - 8 Feet, Yellow,I might suggest buying two of the 8 foot length so that you can have a total of 22 feet length with three sections. It’s nice to have all the total lengths in 2 foot increments from 4 to 22 feet. I bought extra Pole Saw Heads to use as a hook to hang each pole on a nail, but there are probably cheaper solutions. I keep and extra (sharp) blade on one of them. The sections fit a bit tight when new. You can extract a section by putting the hook around a convenient object and giving a small tug. The fittings seem to loosen up quickly with use.

Sturdy Extension that is compatible with Notch Marvin Pole Saw
I have the Notch 18' pole saw and needed just a little more reach. I didn't want to go with another 6' extension as the saw would get a bit unwieldy, so I went for this 4' extension instead. It is a perfect match in every way. Recommended.

Not much to say - love the color and the function. Locks well, a bit hard to unlock, but not unreasonably so. Fits together perfectly, doesn't get stuck or too wobbly. Great product.

A must have
These are professional pole tools for the tree care industry. I have used these for 17 years in the tree service industry and would not be without them. If you’re not using these you’re missing out. Highly recommended for professionals.
