Update to my review. 1/22/23: The remote had an issue but since I had bought two boxes of the votives, I found the other one to work. The vendor sent me a new remote and all is great with that one. I read the other reviews regarding batteries in the votives and I had the same short life votives. They lasted about 8 hours initially so the batteries were old and weak. Now that I have new batteries they work great and are still a good item and I would not only recommend these but I have since bought another box. I've updated my review back to 5 stars. This company stands behind their product and they work great.Remote stopped working in a month. It was the day after Christmas when it stopped working.Changed batteries multiple times, changed a few in votives to make sure all 12 votives did not go out at the same time. It is clearly the remote. I'm so disappointed now. This is why I bought them and loved this immediately. Can not find information to contact Homemory directly for a new remote. I demoted them two stars now after five. I had no intention of running around turning each one on and off since they are in locations requiring ladders.My Review late November 2022: These are great! All inside small glass holders show bright and light so easily with the remote. Discovered that I don't even have to press the on or off button to each one. Several are sitting in a row in a 10' span. Just hold down on or off and wave the remote in one continuous motion and all are on or off. How great is that?

I wanted remote control candles to make a sanctuary for my bedroom. These are perfect. After a day or two you do have to reset them or else the remote won't turn them on, but my main purpose was to be able to turn them off.

I love that the remote controls all of them at once! They add a cozy touch around the house!

These are pretty and the soft light is nice, but they drive me nuts. I got these to put in plastic pumpkins hanging outside. I thought a battery operated light would be great since you could just click the lights one. However, I was wrong!! Everytime you turn these candles off via the remote it won't work to turn them back on. You literally have to flick the switch off and back on, on the bottom of each candle in order for the remote to work again (each time!) I wanted a candle I could turn off and on anytime I go to use it without having to do anything else other than point the remote. Now I have to get a chair, climb up and take down my pumpkins to flick the stupid candle off and on, what's the point of even having a remote. FYI, it's not the outside air causing this, the candles I have inside work the same dumb way. These are pointless.

These are great tea lights. However, the battery life is not that great. I used the timer for a week, and the light began to dim. No worries because Amazon sells the batteries for them, and they are easy to replace. I am so thankful the manufacture did not use a screw for the battery compartment. Thank you for that! The light on them is really nice. We used them for our wedding, and they looked great!

Not long lasting. The remote is good, but thats the only convenience 😏

Flicker definately resembles a real flame.

There was not much light and I had 8 on. More light would have been omitted from a real votive candle.
