I needed help walking my 2yo black lab, Ranger. He was a mess, wouldn’t listen, wouldn’t follow directions… I did not look forward to walking him.This was just what he needed! After 3 or so days he was listening better, followed my cues & what a difference. The collar is easy to remove, good sturdy quality & fit great.

My dog is a hound, Beagle size. She's gotten to where she jumps the fence. I thought connecting her to a cable then this collar while outside it would stop her. Well she broke the fastener ring off. It was still attached to the line, the collar In the yard and she was at the end of the drwy near the rd.

I have used spike chokers on my Samoyed in the past. So I know what to expect and this has never happened before. There is something wrong with the quality/material used in this metal that it is causing this discoloration. Never seem this happen before.

I am a fan of using pinch collars for my larger dog breeds. It's the best way i've found to get them to stop pulling and prevent them from damaging there trachea.This has shar edges on the ends of each prong that left my dog bleeding!! It waa very difficult to remove it from the dog as u needed to remove a prong by squeezing the metal which I was the only one in my home strong enough to get it off and for me it was even hard.I ended up trashing this collar and purchasing the REAL one, from Petco. This on has clean rounded edges, it was easy to put on and remove via a squeeze clip and was fairly priced!this was a waste for money and hurt my beloved furbaby!

First of all it was too big for my dog, she freaked out and got loose and I had to chase her around the yard. I returned it to Amazon, got my refund. Now months later Amazon claims they never got the collar and I’m getting charged for an item I’ve already returned. Scam!!!

I’ve used this type of collar for years and it finally gave out. This appeared to be the same thing, so I ordered. However, it is absolutely impossible to remove any links or connect and disconnect when placing on your dog.I’ve messed with it for half an hour and my hands hurt and I’ve gotten no where.

Great for dog training when they pull. My dog doesn’t pull me anymore and not as sharp as it looks.

I have used these collars to train dogs for many years. I decided to purchase this one due to price and the misbelief that they are all pretty much the same. WRONG. I sized the collar to my dog (lab/heeler mix puppy) and went for a short walk. Everything seemed fine. However after about a week of use, and longer walks, my dog began pulling hard because of a neighbor's dog barking at the fence. When I gave a sharp pull, to correct the pulling, she yelped. The rest of the walk was uneventful. I gave her a bath a couple days later and found a large scab on her neck. It was in the shape of a tear drop. I checked the collar and sure enough, the prongs have not been ground smooth, but rather are just cut pieces of wire with sharp edges. Instead of tightening, some grab the skin and in this case tore it. DO NOT BUY THESE! They are cheap, because they are cheaply made.

Purchased this prong collar after my previous prong collar had started to change collar unfortunately this prong collar was no wear near the quality of my first one prong collar must be slipped over dogs head to put on or it will just break so it your dogs head is to big to fit the prong collar on without poking them with it this collar is no good to use

The prongs are way too oversized. The smaller prong is from my old collar that is a true 3mm. Not sure what this size prong would be used for as I use the smaller prong for a 100lb dog. I am not surprised that this is grossly oversized as I have been tricked like this before from a well know pet store. Best place to buy prong collars is the farm and tack stores, and in person. I will be returning.

Poor quality chain, can’t unclamp them with your fingers like your supposed to to remove them or to take on and off of dog
