I love the idea … and have tried it on one plant so far. I have not left it long enough to see any results, but can say that these work as designed and have a good clip to keep them closed. I used string to tie the ball in place. Fingers crossed it works … I will post an update of it does.

No instructions whatsoever. Yes, there are videos online, but I have found I’ve had no success whatsoever even following instructions in several videos. it’s not mentioned instructions but it may be necessary to re-wet the compost in the coming weeks after installation. as even if it’s very wet when you put the ball on it can possibly dry out which would likely affect any development of roots. So I’ll have to try again, and this time, try and keep the compost wetter throughout the period see if that works

I’ve had these over a year now - the idea is so simple - I looked at utube to understand how to use them - I placed them around the garden and so far have had 2 successful rootings - they looked exactly as they did on utube - the ones that didn’t take are because they dried out which is difficult as they can’t really be watered so maybe use of gel crystals may help
