These are great! We have a pup who sees an open/cracked door as an invitation to run wildly through our neighborhood. And after many visitors coming and forgetting to close the door, these hinges were a must! They work great and I now have so much peace of mind knowing the door closes behind every person who enters it-keeping my pup safely inside!

These are awesome! We had an indoor cat that would sneak out if we forgot to close door tightly. These have great, great spring loaded closing. Amazing how strong the closing pull is( it’s adjustable, we went with 4, the strongest setting) we are delighted!

The spring hinge puts significant closing force on the door, and it is relatively invisible. This would totally be 5 stars except 1 minor thing that can have a big impact. If this just came with an extra "holding pin", which likely costs less than $0.01, I would give it 5 stars, no problem. In order to hold tension on the spring there is a very small "holding pin" that needs to be inserted into the hinge after using the hex key to rotate the internal spring. This is a very simple process to do. However, it is also very easy for the tiny pin to drop, roll or otherwise "get gone" as we say in the south, and then the entire hinge assembly is worthless, unless you can fabricate a replacement. I had to search for about 10 minutes to find where mine had rolled under something in the pantry.

Works well for exterior door if all 3 are used.

These are super easy to install for someone who is not particularly handy. Instructions are super clear. They are beautiful and match my other hardware in the house (for some reason oiled bronze self closing hinges are hard to find). They look great and my door actually closes like it is supposed to now!! 10/10 would recommend. Great value for the price.

Installation was easy. They seem well made and do what they're supposed to do. I needed to use all three on my door, but it closes nicely now. The Allen wrench that comes with it does not fit. There are some reviews complaining about this, and some where they rounded out the heads. Just throw it away and use your own. 5/32" worked for me, but I'm sure there's some metric equivalent.

This spring-loaded door hinge fit perfectly as a replacement for a standard hinge with the same measurements. The company supplies a full set of both wood and machine screws which worked well in our set-up (metal door frame and heavy solid wood door). The spring tension is easy to adjust with the included hex-wrench and the instructions were clearly written. I would purchase these again should the need arise.
