On Photographs

I'm only just discovering David Campany and found this a fascinating introduction to his deep thinking about what we actually do when we take photographs. Not all the selected photos are to my liking but he uses them all to make very interesting points about the act of photography, and it was good to be introduced to less familiar photographers like Evelyn Hofer who now inspires my work. The book is nicely designed and printed well on good quality paper as you would expect from a Thames and Hudson production.

Interesting selection of photographers work, highly recommend

Disliked the fact it wasn’t sealed as new, and disliked the fact it looked second hand.
