Q: Can these be used without a latch or will they hang down

The handles we have , have a spring adjacent to the lever which causes the handle to return to the right angle position after releasing the handle. They only hang down when the spring is broken, which is why we changed our original handles for these new ones. Hope this helps.

No key hole. You would fit the little bar, through your lock. That would have a key with it... These are simply handles.

Yes they are semi Matt black finish with a hammered finish, looks like they were made by a blacksmith. Good quality, very happy with mine

Black door handles

Absolutely amazing, with having 4 children my other door handles were becoming loose so i replaced with these. I also wanted a very antique feel and the are great, very sturdy and look amazing. I have replaced all the internal door handles with these.

Looks good, cheap screws

Bought one set of handles to see what they are like. Very heavy, easy to fit and looks great. First set, one of the screw heads snapped, thought oh just a dodgy screw, bought two more sets and just fitted a second set and as per the photo another screw snapped. Have not got round to fitting the third set yet. The handle in the photo is upside down so the dogs cannot open the door.

Very nice

They look really smart …. However a warning about the screws . When screwing them in the metal splinters a lot with one caught in my thumb. Apart from that they’re great.
