I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this background. It needed some decreasing when I unpacked it. I first tried our steamer, but it made things worse. I then moved over to an iron and ironing board. I suggest ironing on medium-high heat; too hot looked like it could damage it. Getting it ironed was a bit of a mission due to its size, but it was worth the effort. It didn't flatten out perfectly, but a small amount of imperfection doesn't seem to matter. We stuck the top end between 2x 2x1x2400 cm light pine wooden rods as a mounting support, secured that to hang on the wall, then flattened it out on the wall sticking it down in strategic corners to keep it flat. The bookshelf looks so realistic on camera and in the video. It exceeded my expectations. The details on the picture, like the shading, colours, book sizes etc., are so well done and very 3D. I now feel excited and professional about doing my Zoom calls with clients and recording videos in my office. It's added a significant level of refinement and professionalism to my work. I also love looking down the passage into my office as I walk past; it makes for great wallpaper too.

As others have commented, it's difficult to completely iron out the creases, but it nonetheless provides a decent background to add variety to online meetings or as social media backdrops. The book motifs are not entirely realistic, but it's fine if you don't need to simulate a precise bookshelf. I've used nanotape to attach it to a wall, and it's held fine (although it's clear that it's going to pull the paintwork off when I remove it).

Good and practical

Great, realistic-looking bright background with excellent value for money. Given the pattern, it only goes one way up but the size is good so it can cope with a wide range of camera field of view. I have been complimented repeatedly on the quality of the background. AND it beats the fully computer-generated hands down, in terms of quality of the image. In the long term it may be better if you keep it hanging, deployed, or if you just roll it onto a tube/bar as opposed to keeping folding and unfolding it which could, eventually cause damage to the image printed on it and make the folding lines show. But even in that respect, this material is much better than others that I have seen. As I do relatively frequent meetings in which I want everything to look as good as possible, this was a great acquisition

I don't know what I thought buying this. I have a dark blue wall behind my desk which didn't look great when I do Teams calls. I thought rather than paint the wall, I would just buy this backdrop and put it up when I needed. I thought with 'the magic of television' it would sort of blend into the background, but it doesn't. It looks EXACTLY what it is in the background, a cheap twenty quid piece of material with creases in it (they don't really iron out). I thought aha, I will blur the background, but al that does is create a really bizarre mottled effect in the background with lots of coloured blobs where the books are. I'm sure this is a great product for other uses, but if you want a professional looking background for Teams calls for work, this is not it. Savng grace I'm going to use it to spread on the floor to catch the drips when I paint the wall....

This item is great, good material and easy to put up. Is true to size and colour would buy again

I’ve just moved to a rented property with a plain white wall. No pictures etc allowed. I do lots of videoconferencing and needed a quick solution. Within an hour, this was up and ready. Like another reviewer suggested, I cut mine to fit a corner. I tried ironing but would not recommend. The creases don’t show, anyway.

The product comes with so many creases. This could be avoided if it was rolled and not folded.The books are repeated, very obvious and make it look faker than it needs to.Material is okay.Overall, I would not recommend.
