Good assortment of uninsulated crimp connectors come with a slip on insulator. These are not quite as heavy duty as the "name brand" crimps but they are a lot cheaper! They are perfectly fine in all but high vibration or critical applications. The crimp portion does have a seam. I used these in a high temperature pop corn popper.

We only used the 4.8 mm ones but it is a good set.

These worked for my car stereo speaker upgrade. This was a cheaper option than buying adapters with plenty left to work on future projects or help friends and family
