Pleasant to the eye and works great!
Could be a little bit noisy when heating or cooling water, but no to the annoying degree. Works great!

Unacceptably poor quality
It looks nice, but that's about where the niceties end. Twice in the last few months, the dispenser has just randomly started pouring water out onto the floor from inside the bottle cabinet. This is apparently such a problem that they have an FAQ on how to fix it yourself. It's not a manufacturing defect - it's a design flaw. The reservoir lid just lightly snaps in place and spontaneously comes off, which doesn't let the pump know that it's full, so the pump just runs continuously. If I wasn't home both times it happened, our dining room would have been flooded with 5 gallons of water. The first time it happened, it stopped on its own. I contacted support and they wouldn't even talk to me without a video of it happening. Aside from the catastrophic failure listed above, the bottle door doesn't stay shut and doesn't seem to have any mechanism to hold it shut, so when the pump starts running, it rattles the door open and stops filling the reservoir. No water means no cold or hot water even after you shut the door. Doesn't happen all the time, but it shouldn't happen ever on a dispenser at this price. It also doesn't get all the water out of the bottle. It leaves about a quart in the bottom and there's no way to make the 'straw' any longer, just shorter. The tube that pulls the water out rattles against the side or back of the dispenser. There doesn't seem to be any way to put the bottle in that doesn't cause the dispenser to be noisy when the pump or compressor is running. The clock is a nice feature, but it runs fast... I know, nitpick, but we've been doing digital watches for decades. At this price point, there's no excuse. Get it right or leave it off. The temperature targets are essentially useless. If you set the hot to the top (191F, I think), you'll get somewhere within 20 degrees of that. On the bottom end, you can set it to 39F and it'll dispense between 40 and 45 degrees. Maybe that's close enough, but if you're not going to be accurate, why let us set it? And it dispenses painfully slowly.

Almost perfect
I had a bottom loading primo brand water dispenser for years. It didn't have a night light....so HteaO opened up a location in my town. They had a few brio machines in stock. Ridiculously over priced. And they had no way of boxing it up. What you saw on the floor was it. Post pandemic... 😆. Usually a million hands touching something wouldn't bother me. But it's something I bringing home to drink from. So I came on here to see what uncle Jeff has in stock. And I fell in Love with this model. Because of the light up buttons with the night light. Now I got kids who are too lazy to just flip the switch on the wall. What have it 4 stars is they done stay constantly illuminated. So if it's dark and we catch the machine chilling the water in the tank. It's a lucky moment. Stand is from Avalon. Fits the machine like a glove. Highly recommend it if you are tall or have back problems.

Impressed so far!
Had this for a month. I like how quiet it is dispensing water and when cooling. The night light is good but wish I could be motion activated. It’s a switch on the rear. Looks great in black stainless steel. Much better than our Hampton beach similar cooler that was 3 years old.

Cold water stops dispensing
After about a year the cold water stopped dispensing. Customer support says to unplug for 2 hours, plug back in and dispense water from all temperatures to reset. I’ve been having to reset more frequently. The motor does rattle and is loud. If I mess with the placement of the bottle the rattling stops.

U get room temp water for a lost 10 seconds before it gets cold at all
I did my research for weeks for the coldest water dispenser several sources indicated this was the one however the steer isn’t cold when it first comes out u have to purge like half a cup out before it starts to get cold and a full cup to get it really acceptably cold , also it’s loud as all loudness can be . When cooling when dispensing . Just loud and it gets very very loud and obnoxious when ur about 1/5 left of water in the jug . Very displeased wouldn’t never recommend and it’s overpriced to make it worse

Solid and looks great.
Quiet, easy to use. The black stainless looks good in our kitchen.

WORKS, BUT HAS BRIGHT ANNOYING LIGHTS
I replaced a 15-year-old top load 5-gal bottle dispenser with this new bottom load one. I NEVER had an issue or complaint about the old one and it's the reason I went straight to BRIO when it finally stopped working. The water part of this new one works as advertised and it is much quieter, looks better, etc. But! I am unhappy about a few issues. 1- There is not enough space to fill larger sports bottles or Yeti tumblers. My refrigerator door dispenser has 3" more space for taller bottles. Makes me wonder what they designed this for? Everyone uses big tall sports bottles nowadays! 2- The front panel clock is equal to a 60w bright WHITE light that is ALWAYS on. No way to dim it, no way to turn it off. Does anyone really want a clock on their water dispenser? Very annoying because of the brightness and will have to tape over it. Did anyone ever "test" this product inside a kitchen or den? The light is super bright! 3- Brio advertises this unit as "self-cleaning." I guess the water lines are, but NOT the reservoir where the water is stored. The manual recommends cleaning every 4 months. There is a very detailed and confusing 10 step way to do this. You even need citric acid crystals (I've never even heard of them) a 3-gallon bucket and a lot of time to do it. Needless to say, I won't be doing that every 4 months. So DO NOT believe when Brio says "self-cleaning", as it is not! 4- Lastly, the top panel of the unit "blocks your view" when dispensing water, unless your only 4' tall. I have to bend down in a weird stance to watch the bottle fill. (I won't even mention the very cheap plastic used, because everyone uses the same in our modern world.)
