Miracle in a Bottle
Dr. Denese Triple Strength Peptide Super DropsThis does contain alcohol and fragrance but they are both towards the end of the ingredients list. I couldn't really detect any scent at all. That isn't stopping me from giving this 5 stars for how much my skin loves this serum. I can use just a few drops in the morning and my skin stays hydrated ALL DAY LONG. I have super dry skin and this is the first thing I have found that is ONE STEP before applying my foundation. I don't need primers or additional lotions - JUST THIS. I cannot emphasize enough how wonderful my skin feels.I have tried a lot of super expensive serums (looking at you $80 Demalogica oil) and I actually use less of this one product to do multiple things. If you have super dry and sensitive skin, this is a life saver. I have now been using it twice a day for 2 weeks and my skin feels wonderful. Normally by the time I get to this point the initial benefits of a product tend to wear off. This just keeps getting better. I am using the hydrating cream at night for extra moisture.Key IngredientsAntioxidant: Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Flour, Portulaca Oleracea Extract, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Hydroxymethoxyphenyl Decanone, Tocopheryl AcetateExfoliant: Glycolic AcidSkin-identical ingredient: Squalane, Sodium Hyaluronate, UreaSoothing: Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Flour, Portulaca Oleracea Extract, Foeniculum Vulgare (Fennel) Fruit Extract, Humulus Lupulus (Hops) Extract, Viscum Album (Mistletoe) Leaf Extract, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Achillea Millefolium Extract, Allantoin, Hydroxymethoxyphenyl Decanone, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, PanthenolALL INGREDIENTS BY FUNCTIONAntimicrobial/antibacterial: Humulus Lupulus (Hops) Extract, AlcoholBuffering: Glycolic Acid, Sodium HydroxideChelating: Disodium EDTAEmollient: Squalane, Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Flour, Dimethicone, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Cetearyl Alcohol, Behenyl Alcohol, Foeniculum Vulgare (Fennel) Fruit Extract, Humulus Lupulus (Hops) Extract, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Sterols, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Hydroxypropyl Bislauramide Mea, Cetyl Alcohol, Stearyl Alcohol, Glyceryl StearateEmulsifying: Cetearyl Alcohol, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Cetyl Alcohol, Stearyl Alcohol, Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-20 Soy Sterol, Xanthan GumMoisturizer/humectant: Propanediol, Butylene Glycol, Sodium Hyaluronate, Hydrolyzed Sodium Hyaluronate, Soluble Collagen, Saccharum Officinarum (Sugar Cane) Extract, Urea, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, PanthenolPerfuming: Humulus Lupulus (Hops) Extract, FragrancePreservative: Phenoxyethanol, EthylhexylglycerinSolvent: Water (Aqua), Propanediol, Butylene Glycol, AlcoholSurfactant/cleansing: Cetearyl Alcohol, Achillea Millefolium Extract, Cetyl Alcohol, Stearyl Alcohol, Xanthan GumViscosity controlling: Ammonium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/VP Copolymer, Butylene Glycol, Cetearyl Alcohol, Behenyl Alcohol, Cetyl Alcohol, Stearyl Alcohol, Alcohol, Disodium EDTA, Xanthan Gum, Sclerotium GumIngredients (in order)Water (Aqua), Glycolic Acid, Propanediol, Squalane, Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Flour, Dimethicone, Sodium Hydroxide, Ammonium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/VP Copolymer, Butylene Glycol, Portulaca Oleracea Extract, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Cetearyl Alcohol, Behenyl Alcohol, Phytosteryl/Behenyl/Octyldodecyl Lauroyl Glutamate, Sodium Hyaluronate, Hydrolyzed Sodium Hyaluronate, Soluble Collagen, Vaccinium Myrtillus Fruit/Leaf Extract, Saccharum Officinarum (Sugar Cane) Extract, Acer Saccharum (Sugar Maple) Extract, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Fruit Extract, Citrus Limon (Lemon) Extract, Foeniculum Vulgare (Fennel) Fruit Extract, Humulus Lupulus (Hops) Extract, Melissa Officinalis Leaf Extract, Viscum Album (Mistletoe) Leaf Extract, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Achillea Millefolium Extract, Urea, Allantoin, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Sterols, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Polyglycerin-10 Distearate, Hydroxypropyl Bislauramide MEA, Cetyl Alcohol, Stearyl Alcohol, Alcohol, Phytosterol, Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-20 Soy Sterol, Hydroxymethoxyphenyl Decanone, Tocopheryl Acetate, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Panthenol, Disodium EDTA, Xanthan Gum, Sclerotium Gum, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Fragrance

Oh no....
I've tried a few Dr. Denese products and they're hit or miss for me. I just entered my 40s and have always been into skincare. I didn't look too closely at the ingredients before ordering, so that's my bad...I saw the price and assumed it'd be a good product. So for a moment, I claim total idiocy. For my skin, I try to avoid silicones(aka dimethicone). I get more clogged pores and breakouts using products with dimethicone. Just think, some people hate silicones on their hair, why would you want it on your skin? I think they add dimethicone because it gives your skin an immediate silky quality, which might make you feel like your skin is in better condition. I consider it a cheap filler...a fake out additive. The #1 ingredient in this is dimethicone. In fact, it's the top 5 listed ingredients. They're listed from highest to lowest concentration. I literally gasped and was thinking "what have I done." For the sake of review, I've been using it anyway. So far I haven't noticed any positives or negatives. Does it feel nice? Yes. Do I feel shame knowing I'm just applying silicone all over my face? Yes.After those top 5 silicones, you get into Vitamin A, E and C. You can get those pretty affordably as stand alone products or included in other beauty items. Retinoids are also becoming more common and affordable. Soja is just soybean oil which is very cheap. I was intrigued by the melatonin so this is literally the only interesting ingredient for me. Per google: "Melatonin penetrates the skin and activates the synthesis of antioxidant enzymes. These antioxidant enzymes work to block free radicals and thus repair oxidative damage to the skin. This means melatonin is a major skin protectant, from free radical scavenging to DNA damage repair". I didn't find anything in the ingredients with these Peptide Super Drops that impressed me besides the melatonin, use-wise or science-wise. I would not get this ever again and I think I'm signing off of trying Dr. Denese products. Not for me.Ingredients: Dimethicone, Cyclopentasiloxane, Caprylyl Methicone, Dimethiconol, Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate (Vitamin C), Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate (Vitamin A), Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Retinol, Palmitoyl Hexapeptide-14, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7, Melatonin, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Polysilicone-11, Ethoxydiglycol, Dimethyl Isosorbide, Sorbitan Laurate, C18-36 Acid Glycol Ester, C18-36 Acid Triglyceride, Lecithin, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Glycine Soja Oil, Phenoxyethanol

A huuuuuge list of active ingredients
Looking at the list of ingredients it seems the folks of Dr. Denese have decided to just throw everything against the wall and see what sticks with this stuff. Retinol, ceramides, hyaluronic acid, glycolic acid, peptides and vitamins. I can’t remember ever seeing a more packed list of ingredients.Don’t get me wrong, I’m intrigued. I love going all out on my skin. I’m just a little concerned as my skin is quite sensitive, and it seems as if this is best suited for someone coated in Teflon who can tolerate every possible ingredient. Unfortunately that’s not me. I tried it a couple of times and actually quite liked it. I noticed an almost immediate improvement in smoothness, though I’m guessing that’s the dimethicone doing its work to fill imperfections, so it’s more of a temporary fix that permanent improvement.I’ve not had a negative reaction so far so I may continue using this, but sparingly. I like it, but I’d only recommend it if you have no issues with skin sensitivity. It’s just... y’know, a lot to throw at your skin. If you can take it I think it might work wonders.

I have several of Dr. Deneses' products
Like the rest of them, this is great. It is easy to use. This is a serum and it comes with a nice sized bottle for drops and a separate dropper to use them. After washing your face at night, dry and then apply the drops (drops are usually used with just a small amount) and then follow with your night moisturizer.
