does what it needs too
Love this thing!!! Makes a QUICK job of flashing and testing MCU chips! No more juggling clips, wires and chip to connect up for flashing/testing, not sure if one or more are correctly connected. Just press the chip into the fixture, ALL GPIO's, VCC, GND, etc are firmly attached, EASY to address any contact point with .025 square pin-outs as a bonus! It even has a female cluster for quick attachment of small development boards. With a USB micro to supply data/power, LED lights to confirm communication and power plus buttons for reset and reboot. All mounted on a thick plexiglass base with all contact points labeled. Although I've only run 15 chips through this fixture, I have saved HOURS of setup and REPEAT testing/flashing time! Well worth the money! (fair price also works with esp32 also)

Programmer works well, but silk screened pin names are just...
Programmer works well, but silk screened pin names are just D0 D1 D2 seq down the list. No relevance to to actual pins of the esp12f. VCC/Gnd/Reset are correct, rest are just a list of numbers from a dev board NodeMCU maybe? As long as you're aware of that and don't mind having to check/count down to find the pin you're actually hooking to you'll be fine. It does make working with these 2mm pinouts so much easier. Nearly required if you wanna run off battery as you don't have to deal with all the power eating garbage added to the dev board versions.

Soooo handy. Just buy one! You won't regret it
This beats soldering wires on ESP boards. Makes flashing so easy. I programmed and installed 6 ESP8266 boards in a set of recessed lights in about an hour. That includes removing the BT3L boards, and installing the ESP8266's!

Good product. Lacking information
Product works as expected. If you're using Arduino IDE to flash, choose NodeMCU 1.0 (ESP-12E Module) board. Also, the item description says 5 Pcs and I was expecting 5 boards, but apparently one of the 'Pcs' was the adapter board. A little advice: If you're having trouble flashing, apply a small amount of pressure to the top of the board to make best contact with the adapter pins.

ESP8266 modules and flashing board
Great bundle! These are ideal modules to replace those cheap non-flashable Tuya modules that come in most IOT devices. The flashing board is great to program the module before installing in your IOT device so you dont need to flash with jumper cables. LOCAL DEVICES FOR THE WIN
