So Good, I'm A Repeat!
It works and works great! I can't tell you how stoked I am to have found this product!! For 20 years (I'm 46, & still deal with acne :( ) I had been using a product called RA Lotion, for my very oily skin, in which the key ingredients were Resorcinol (3%) & Medical Grade Alcohol (43%) - It also contained calamine lotion for tint. It was the only "over-the-counter" I ever found that truly helped with my oily skin. With oily skin & large pores, I do not use any make-up, since that clogs my pores & causes more break-out, but heaven knows I need something to cover up the acne, so the RA Lotion was awesome with the tint. There was a halt on production of the RA Lotion, due to new permits needed for the alcohol (as per the manufacturer, Medco Labs), therefore I searched with all my heart to find something comparable. I did a search on the ingredient Resorcinol and eventually found "Glytone" (love you, Google!). I saw it also uses sulfur, so researched that a bit & of course, had to try it, since it has both Resorcinol & a Tint!! I am sooo glad I did!! Now, the flesh-tone tint is not going to match every skin color out there, but I'm Caucasian (olive skin), if that helps, & it works well for me! It IS my make-up, so I don't have to use any other cover-up. Yes, it is a bit thick, as it dries quickly when hit with air, but I simply put a little purified or distilled water into the bottle (& shake it up) to thin it out a bit. You may also need to dab your finger on your tongue, then put a little spot of the Glytone on that wet fingertip, then spread on your face. You do not need a lot, as it is thick and spreads out with that dab of wetness. You'll figure it out :) And yes, at first, you really notice the sulfur smell, but after a while you won't. I think the water thinning it out helps dissipate that smell a little. Given the results, I couldn't care less about the smell! I just want better skin and this is my favorite non-prescription!! By the way, I deal with cystic acne, so the Benzoyl Peroxide products don't do much for me. It's the glycolic & salicylic acid that does the trick. I wash with Neutrogena Acne wash, containing 2% Salicylic Acid, & use this Glytone -- With cystic acne, this has been far better for me than the Proactiv system was !!

Satisfied.
I was searching for a replacement of LS acne cover lotion. This one comes really close. It is thicker than Linda Sy product which I found challeging when I first started using it. I'm currently experimenting by adding a few drops prn of a sterile decongestant nose drops and mixing it on my palm as I apply it with a foundation brush/sponge. So far this is working very well for me. I like that fact that it is thicker minus the application process since it dries so fast, but once its on I find it stays on much longer than the LS product did. My skin has become increasily oiler as a age, such a nusance. I also have extremly sensitive acne prone skin and was pleasently surprised the fragrance in it has not caused irritation like other designer brands on the market. I believe it due to Glytone being more medicinal than those other designer products. This product is a life saver for aesthetic pleasing reason. I'm definitely going to try more products by Glytone.

Not a substitute for make-up
Let me begin with, I have no idea how anyone uses this as make-up or under make-up... It's kind of like having a thin, clay-like mask on. It's very dry, so putting make-up over it doesn't seem like it would end well. It also does not look like make-up when it's on.Another note: People said that this product runs pale, which I was excited about. However, it is still way too dark and orange-y for my skin. Just a warning to all other incredibly pale people out there who have to buy porcelain/alabaster make-up usually. This is more of a beige. While both of these things were a bit disappointing, I didn't expect much considering this is an acne product, not make-up. It does, as others say, have a relatively strong sulfur smell, too.I'm giving this a 4 star rating for now, as this is only my second day of using it and haven't given-up hope that it will work yet. I did see a slight reduction in redness in the morning, but no change when it came to zits.

No worth it
This acne treatment does nothing except make you look orange where applied. Do not apply before bed as you will have stained pillow cases

Pink!!
Unless you have very oily PINK skin, skip this!!

not tinted very much
I don't like the glytone flesh tinted acne lotion, because the color is too pale. I have light olive skin and it gives my face the babypowdered look. I would only recommend this for someone that has an ivory or light complexion.

BEST acne treatment!
This is the best acne treatment I've ever tried, and I've tried a lot of acne products (e.g. prescription retinoids, prescription antibiotic gels, salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide, prescription oral antibiotics, prescription oral retinoids, etc). After only 3 days of using this lotion (am & pm), it helps to calm the acne from flare up, and smooth all cystic bumps. My skin is yellow undertone (NC30), and its pink tinted does show up on my skin if I put to much on. So I can't wear it alone in the morning, but I use it as face primer before foundation. It works fine!

Love this stuff!
Love this stuff! It really helps with my problem skin! I use it as a spot treatment, and actually mix a little of it with my foundation and use a brush to apply it (everywhere except around my eyes.) It has a very slight sulfur smell, but it goes away quickly, and honestly, I don't mind, because it actually works! They actually sent the wrong product the first time, but responded very quickly, sent the correct product and a postage-paid mailing return label for the incorrect item. Very pleased overall!
