Took ages to find a square toilet seat that would fit our RAK Ceramic Toilet. didn't know if it would be the right shape but took a chance and so glad I did. Perfect size shape and super build quality. The soft close action is a bonus and works for both the seat and the lid...no more waking the family in the middle of the night. Comes with comprehensive instructions and 2 sets of installation screws that work with both normal and close coupled toilet basins. HIGHLY recommend this product

First impressions - It doesn't feel as sturdy as my old toilet seat, it's just normal plastic and feels less hard wearing - The top fitting connectors were so simple to install. A massive upgrade from my old underneath fittings which required me to reach under and around to tighten them - There are 4 underneath pads on the seat and the front 2 sit flat to the toilet rim but the back 2 are slightly raised and don't touch the toilet. This could potentially be a problem in future with the seat cracking with the constant use and pressing down on it * - The soft close fitting are what you'd expect. Silent, but slow. Overall ok, some concerns about the plastic quality and the pads not sitting flat to the seat but first few uses have been fine. It has only been used for just a few hours at the time of writing this review so I may come back and update this in a few months. * I used my old toilet seat pads to help with this by trimming down the old pad and then using some bathroom silicone to glue the old pad to the new to create a thicker pad. The back ones now sit flat to the seat but the front ones are marginally higher. It has taken the pressure off the back hinge which should reduce any potentially cracking but I think I will make the front ones slightly thicker using the old pads too so theyre level. I've added pictures to show the difference.

Perfect fit for square toilet. I fitted it quickly and easily, leaving the old anchorage (unseen beneath the bowl) fittings in situ. The new seat needed the supplied short bolts and hing base, then pop the seat on and adjust to fit. Hey presto, done ✔️

Comfortable to sit on, fits rectangular bowl nicely, however, it’s prone to get loose on the hinge and there’s no easy way to tighten. I bought two and both have the same problem.

Exactly what was described not as good as the original seat but decent replacement

So, I purchased three of these. They have top fittings that expand in the ceramic to provide stability or NOT. The seats slide around. I perused this in detail... The problem is the fixing bungs lift the plastic flange off the ceramic and hence any friction is lost. By utilising bottom fixing.... removing the expanding bung... the flange contacts the ceramic and before tightening fully doesnt move... So, when tightened it is great. Problem solved. Note this plan is no good if you do not have bottom access for fixing. The seats are well made and Soft Close is good. Stainless caps had some superficial impurities that rusted.... BUT washed off. Like swarf.

Nel mio caso l’oggetto è arrivato danneggiato, probabilmente sia a causa dell’imballo insufficiente che della bassa qualità realizzativa. Non ne consiglio l’acquisto, meglio optare per prodotti più costosi ma durevoli.
