I didn’t like
The media could not be loaded. I love moon cakes , I’ve always used to go buy them from a local bakery. The local bakery that I go to recently moved to a different location so I couldn’t go there anymore. I recently started to crave moon cakes and decided to order them off of Amazon since DoorDash didn’t have any bakery’s that sold mooncakes on there. When I ordered the mooncakes I looked through the reviews and some people were happy and some people were disappointed but I decided to take my chances. When the moon cakes got to my location they were very well package but when i opened up a mooncake it felt very hard and was hard to cut , it even had a certain smell to it. Even though it was hard and had a smell to it I still took a bite only to find out that it wasStale and had a bad aftertaste. I’m not an expert on mooncakes and I’m not trying to hate on anyones baking because it could of been just a bad batch but I recommend for the people that are thinking of buying these mooncakes for 30$ To look on google for some local bakery’s because it’s not worth to take the chance

Okay-ish, but plentiful
The selling point for these mooncakes is that you get a bunch of them in a box. They're also individually labeled, so you know what flavor each one is.They're small - maybe 3 cm across - so not good for sharing, which we like to do with mooncakes. Their flavors are bland and their texture is more like a fig newton than a mooncake. These would be fun and affordable for a classroom teacher purchasing one's own mooncakes for a midautumn festival or Chinese-themed event. Otherwise I'd pass.

Worth the wait
This September I read about the Chinese festival of the moon and decided to order some mooncakes. I believe I placed the order at the end of September or the beginning of October but it finally arrived in late November. Is this the sellers fault? No, of course not. World shipping is very backed up, so if you order, be patient. The mooncakes are individually wrapped in a carboard box which arrived from halfway around the world in surprisingly excellent condition. I attribute the good shape it came to me in, because of the careful packaging job the seller did. The box was a little dented but not one single mooncake was damaged. They are fresh and delicious. I have never tasted anything like this before and I am definitely going to order these again next year. They are sweet but not sickly sweet, they are very nice. Some of the flavors were quite familiar and some I had never tried before but all lovely. Also there's plenty to share with friends but make sure you try one of each yourself. A1 Seller 5 stars.

Very dry
These were much too dry, and I wasn't a fan of many of the flavors.

Beautiful, bite-sized, light moon cakes that suffer inconsistencies in texture and freshness.
These moon cakes are bite sized and decorated with beautiful characters on top. They are individually wrapped and in the box pictured. There are multiple flavors, maybe two of each. Some were incredibly fresh, (pineapple, cantaloupe and honey peach) with a soft bread like outside, and gummy jelly inside. Others came incredibly dry (strawberry & a few others) with an outside that crumbled and was very stale tasting and an inside that was tacky and gummy. I was so excited to discover the flavors and textures of the moon cake finally! I felt like the box had so many cakes in it and I was really excited. On account of flavor, I do have quite a terrible diet which includes not hydrating properly which can drastically change the way that you taste foods. So, for me, I found the moon cakes to be incredibly light in flavor on some days to the point that I couldn't taste them. Today, for example, I hydrated more and had a cantaloupe moon cake for a snack and I could taste cantaloupe and it was so light and refreshing! Take care of yourself folks. One of the strongest flavors in the box that I ordered was the BLACK SESAME SEED moon cake. I was horrified by the name and anticipated it to be one that was savory like meat. HOWEVER, I did enjoy it a lot and it was the strongest tasting ones. Black sesame one did have more going on than just jelly in the middle, I believe there were a few nuts. Unfortunately, the inconsistencies were a disappointment as I was unable to give a fair review on the tastes of the drier, staler, flavours. I'm excited about this introduction to moon cakes, but I won't be quickly ordering more because I risk buying the stale moon cakes that were not enjoyable to eat. None the less, I immensely appreciate these fine moon cakes-- they came a couple days before my birthday!! 🎉

Delicious!! Great for those trying Moon Cakes for the first time!
I ordered these for my daughter to try. She's been obsessed with "Over the Moon" on Netflix and I looked everywhere to find Mooncakes that are "out of season". I ordered these and my daughter, husband and I are OBSESSED! My favorite flavors are the "Honey Peach", "Mung Bean", and although it's very different from what I'm used to, I love the "Five Kernels".I have no idea what's in the Five Kernels and every Google search I've found shows ingredients very different from what I ate. But it still tastes very good. They're a lot smaller than I realized. They look more like cookies (about the size of an Oreo) instead of cakes. But they're still very cake-like and great to snack on when you're watching "Over the Moon" for the millionth time.
