Hurtta Casual Padded Dog Y-Harness, Lingon, 28 in

I my mind, this is a very fine dog harness. Probably is the best I have purchased. My big boy male Labrador has a huge neck, so it took some time to properly adjust the straps connecting to the two buckles on top of the harness. However, it was just busy work, no real difficulty. After adjusting, the fit was perfect, with quality materials and I must admit that my yellow Labrador looks pretty dashing in the cinnamon collar. No regrets, and I highly recommend this product!

While a little pricey, this harness is very high quality, fits very well and serves its purpose.

My dog was very comfortable in this harness and I love how it looks. The padding is pretty thick, which is a nice feature on this style of harness. The downside: I wish it was more adjustable. The neck size almost works, but is slightly too big for my skinny and athletic pup. He’s 45 lbs, 23” with a 30” chest. He’s thin, muscular, and deep chested making him hard to fit. The chest strap was perfect, the neck opening needed to be slightly smaller. He would have no issues escaping if he wanted. Ultimately I ended up donating the harness and using a different brand, but if this model comes out with an adjustable neck, I would definitely try it again.

I’ve searched everywhere for a good quality harness for my 86lb Lab. Didn’t need the bells and whistles just something simple and easy to put on. I got the Heather color and the neoprene down the chest is great and also this harness does not run under legs which was another plus. Definitely would buy again my dog adjusted to it as well. I got the 35-39 and my dog is a Lab Mix so she has more hair then a full blooded lab. She measured 35 but didn’t want to take the chance of it being to small and I’m glad I did. Little adjustments tightening and fits like a charm.

I’ve used Hurtta harnesses for many years so when I was preparing to get a puppy thought I’d purchase another. But the “Y” harnesses were nowhere to be found, not even on their site. Now that puppy is mostly full grown I looked again to see if anyone else was selling something similar. LO and behold, the Hurtta “Y” harnesses are back and even sold here! The only thing I hesitated about were the plastic slide in buckles as I have arthritis which makes them difficult. But I purchased one in cinnamon color for my black Sheltie to try anyway. Well, this new design is improved! The buckles are redesigned to be super easy to open and close. In addition there are now 2 buckles for the wrap around girth so your dog does not have to step in as they did before when there was just 1 buckle. The only thing the dog has to deal with is it slipping over their head, which you can teach by dropping some treats on the ground as you pull it over. I’m sure this is going to last a lifetime! Note, I love the “Y” harness for a Sheltie! It allows complete shoulder movement without rubbing and the single chest strap allows their big furry rough to fall to both sides rather than getting compressed by a wide chest piece.

We have two Hurtta harnesses for our 40 lb cattle dog mix. They're both about two years old now and have barely aged even though one of them is worn at every walk. They were easy to fit, and I think Bella is fine with them. She certainly cooperates when we put them over her head. I wouldn't buy any other brand.

I love the color, fit, quality of this harness. The harness sits back from my dog's shoulder and elbows. It fits my 30 pound cocker spaniel like it was made for him. I like the narrow chest strap since the wider padded ones cause matting. The orange is a brownish orange and very classy. I got lot of compliments. It's well made, the buckles are sturdy and out of the way, the hardware is stainless. It's a great harness and if you had that River color in stock, I'd buy another just to have 2!! I love it and my dog looks great.

Beautiful cinnamon color and true to size around the chest but I wish we were able to adjust the straps around the neck because for medium breeds, the harness I received is too big for around that area. Will still keep it though but am hoping Hurtta resolves this issue!

Hurrta begleitet mich und meine Hunde seit über zehn Jahren. Die Geschirre sind einfach die besten. Langlebig, super Qualität, anatomisch super durchdacht - schränken die Bewegungsfreiheit nicht ein. Wir haben auch schon mit Konkurrenzprodukten geliebäugelt, sind aber schnell wieder zu Hurrta zurück. Einfach die besten Geschirre!

Ben fatta, ottima qualità. Abbastanza leggera. Per la mia cocker spaniel inglese di 11kg ho preso la taglia 50-60 ed è corretta. La consiglio.

It's a really nice looking harness. But already broken after 3 weeks. Only option I have is to return it, but then I cannot walk the dog without it...expensive for poor quality and lacking service of Amazon.
