AWESOME product, I could not recommend it more!
I LOVE IT!!!!I was looking for something small, insulated, and possibly stylish at an affordable price, and after a year I am still VERY Happy with my purchase!I usually make coffee at 8 in the morning, and it is still hot way into the afternoon, I would re-buy it right away I would definitely recommend anyone to buy it! I paid 18$ for the 12oz bottle, but now that I know it I would be willing to pay up to 30$ given the quality. Also, even if secondary, it is worthy to note that the exterior still looks as good as new after a year of intense use carrying it around in my bag all the time! Also one thing if you are considering buying one:For me the top that turns into a cup is a HUGE PLUS! Some vacuum bottles are great at keeping the coffee warm.. but then how do you drink scalding coffee?? I can't!

Best thermos ever
Best thermos ever! I love all Zojurishi thermoses, but the kind I had before (16 oz. with a flip top) worked a little...too...well. If I tried to drink my tea/ coffee straight from the thermos, it would always burn my mouth...even 3-4 hours after I had first filled it up. I suppose I could have let my drink cool off to a reasonable temperature before pouring it in, but that required foresight, of which I have none. Also I am impatient. And lazy. This version has a cup as its lid, so I can pour out my scalding hot beverage and let it cool a bit before attempting to drink it. No need for foresight, hooray!! The size is perfect for me, but it might be a bit lacking for those of you who can guzzle down 20 oz. lattes. Otherwise it's definitely worth the price!

Pretty good
Was really excited to get this thermos. It's definitely slim and slides into my bag snugly! It worked great for a while and made it so much easier to get my coffee fix, but I'm on the 5th month and it's starting to show a little wear. Externally, it's fine and the interior is still doing a great job keeping my beverage warm. The problem is with the buttons at the top. They've been becoming harder to click and at times, wouldn't even close unless I push really hard. It was really easy to use at the beginning, but now there's a bit of resistance. I'm not sure if it's jammed or some other factor, but I've tried cleaning it thoroughly and soaking it, which only fixes the problem half the time. I was hoping for something more durable considering Zojirushi is a well-liked and trusted brand so this is a little disappointing.Other the problem mentioned above, it's a great thermos. Love the design and very handy so no buyer's remorse here. :)

Pefect for that little bit of coffee crave - just ordered another - keeps coffee hot hot hot
Insulating quality is very good - pour hot coffee in and I don't feel the outer shell warm (loosing heat) like some others I've tried meaning good insulation from loosing heat.Nice when you want to take just a little coffee for the little bit of coffee crave.Just received and used it for an evening of fishing, later when I wanted a little coffee it was steaming hot. Hit the spot & ahhhh!Sometimes I want just a little and this small vacuum bottle is the perfect size (for me) take along. Fits perfect in my molle water bottle add-on pouches. The cup is small (expected that) and the easy open to pour and close lid is easy to use. Finish is nice. Easy to carry.

Am I missing something here?
I just received this and started to read the instructions. There are pages of things NOT to do with like you can't put salty soup, not dishwater safe, etc.. Also, there is this chemical lining inside and this is super thin. What happened to double layer of stainless steel like the other brands? I expected more from a Japanese product. This is going back!

Very handy at first, but didn't hold up very well.
I've had this thermos for over a year, and it served me very well for a fair while. Somewhere along the line, it started leaking a bit, just enough that it would spill out a bit of coffee when you took off the cap. Kind of unfortunate, but, not entirely unexpected, it's very difficult to find long-lasting thermoses these days. The claims regarding how long it will keep your liquid hot are no exaggeration, which was very nice. The real pain in the neck is how hard it is to clean. The persistent coffee flavor wasn't really a problem at first, since I was only using coffee in it in the first place. But, I left it half-full of coffee with cream at my office for a long weekend, and it picked up this mold smell that I haven't been able to get rid of. The flask itself would be bad enough (something about the coating on the inside really traps that odor in there), but the inner lid assembly, with all of its finicky moving parts, is impossible to get at with any kind of scrubbing device, and I haven't had any luck with soaking it in boiling water, white vinegar, soapy solutions, any of the usual solutions. Whole thing is unusable now, unfortunately.

Good thermal quality but poor built quality
I owned a Zojirushi thermal mug when I first started out working 20 years ago. It was the best purchase in my life. I carried it everywhere until it was dented so badly that it couldn't stand upright. That is why I was so disappointed with the built quality of this one. Although the mug could keep hot water pipping hot for hours, it leaked whenever I poured it. I tried to clean the seal, fill the bottle 80% full, twist the cap tight (and not) without avail. Worse, after just six months, the one touch pour button started to get stuck. I could open the stopper but not close it.So while my last Zojirushi served me loyally for ten years, I said goodbye to this one in under one. I am mad and sad, because I feel betrayed by a long and trusted friend. Why, Zojirushi, why did you choose to cut corners to save a few bucks?!
