This was bought to assist an elderly person in their cooking. It is an excellent purchase. All the features represented are fully functional and true to description and proposed design.It is weighty, sturdy, and the blade is sharp. It goes through joints etc very well and removes the pressure from the user's joints.Highly recommended.

These are really great functionally. They are easy to clean and with a little practice the lock works well. However they don’t hold an edge well. Either plan to sharpen often or spend more on a higher end product.

Sweet, juicy, and well made. Snipped up a mess of trout like cutting through butter. Also processed a batch of wing dings with the greatest of ease. Buy these now while you can or your really missing out on the deal of the century. Get an extra pair for your favorite relative. You will not find a better pair! Cuts slick as wet snot and tough like a boiled owl.

I used these when butchering my turkeys.The pieces come apart for easy cleaning and sharpening and the blades lock for storage. The handle openings are also large so they were easy to use with gloves on.

When we first got this product, we thought it was amazing. It cuts through a whole chicken very easily. We used the scissors several times and had no problem cleaning it. However, when we used it the last time, it just fell apart while cutting and after trying for an hour to put it back together, we were unable to do that. I'm very disappointed with this product. I have looked on YouTube tutorials on how to put the scissors back together, but the blades (even when attached), won't move. It's like they are stuck in a one position. We probably used this product only 4 times and my engineer son-in-law couldn't even fix this scissors

Purchased to dispatch (kill) and process Coturnix quail. The shears are not sharp enough to decapitate the quails in one cut, although the shears did sever the spine. The shears worked great for processing the quail once dead. No issues with cutting off the wings or feet.The shears are easy to clean and feel good in the hand. I’m going to see if I can sharpen the blades to improve the killing process.

It's a little bit difficult to handle and hurts my hand after a little bit of cutting, I don't know if I am able to adjust the resistance of the spring but I don't think I can. It's hard trying to cut through poultry skin no matter how much it's sharpened, and it's frustrating. I got this one because my other one (non-spring loaded) was getting dull and wasn't sharpening anymore, but this one seems to be worse as my old one does a better job at cutting through meat and skin than this one, even when dull. I'm a little disappointed.

The scissors separated to wash. I used them for chicken and cutting herbs.
