These ball joints here are replacing a set of xrf, the xrf only lasted me approximately 3 years. These ball joints are considerably of higher quality and a much better constructed Boot and retainer. When you take your smooth bore original equipment out be sure to clean the area thoroughly because these new ball joints are spline and will be hard to put in but well worth the effort. Please use a good quality ball joint press don't go hammering the old one's out like in some of the videos on YouTube because it will bite you in the rear later on. Noticed the way the grease tubes are turned and the lock ring is on so it could be serviced easily. Very satisfied with the quality of these ball joints and I would recommend them to any of the guys with the Dodge 2500 and 3500 Rams
