It works as advertised
It showed me where I was mishitting the ball, I was consistently missing in the same spot, and after reading some tips, and making some adjustments to my stance, I was able to greatly improve my impact zone. From making a "perfect" divot maybe one out of fifteen times, and the rest of the time hitting it fat to a greater or lesser extent, I began making the correct divot more than half the time. This is only after one day. It also allows you to practice without a ball and have a good idea what would have happened had you actually hit a ball.I took the biggest one, and I am not sure that this was necessary, but I do like it, nonetheless. I think that the big one would be more helpful if you are having problems with slicing or hooking the ball, which is not my issue. With it you could figure out if a swing would have resulted in a slice or a hook, as well as if you hit it fat or thin.My only complaint is that it said when I ordered it that it would come within a week, and only after that date had passed, was I notified that it would take an additional month to arrive. That is the only reason I docked them a star.Edit: I changed it to five stars. I don't know if you have to buy this particular one, but after practicing with it for a week, for a short time about three times a day, I went on the course and it had changed my game. At first it made it worse, then it got far better.

Works well, but moves around easily
Got this to practice my low point and check on my path. The material (whatever it is) shows both very well, and easily clears with a light wipe back in the other direction. My only gripe is that it does not stay in one place. Even when just practicing short pitch shots, it’ll slide forward. This has been the case on both our low pile carpet and vinyl plank kitchen floor. It’s not a deal breaker by any means, but it does shorten my practice time because I get tired of having to constantly move it back and adjust it.Finally, I’ve seen other reviewers complain about its durability. I can’t really comment on that because of how lightly I use mine (only one or two full swings every once in a while to get a quick check on my low point and path, and otherwise only half swings for practice and/or chips and pitches). But for what I’ve used it for, I think it will last several years at least.

Best golf swing training aid!
I was a bit worried about the durability after reading (and seeing the images) about how the mat was getting shredded after minimal usage. Happy to report that (at least for so far) my mat has stood up to my fat shots and mishits. I can't get over how impressed I am with this simple, yet effective swing training aid. My iron shots have always been problematic to the point where I was considering converting to fairway woods and hybrids. But on my first day of using this mat, the feedback was immediate and enabled me to really work on correcting my swing path's lowpoint. In only a week of using this mat there was a noticeable improvement with my irons. I have more confidence in using them now thanks to this mat. I think I'll purchase another one because it is inevitable this mat will not last forever, but for now it gets the maximum 5-star rating from me.

Junk
Do not waste your money on this golf mat! It was purchased as a birthday gift for my grandson and was completely destroyed the first time it was used. How do I obtain a refund for this worthless product?

Get Square at Impact!
This training aid with practice helps you to be “square at impact” at a reasonable price.

Decent But Caution
First: don’t take full power swings. Use this to work on your swing at 50-70% power. I don’t mean don’t make a full swing, but don’t go at this like you’re at the range or course. It will degrade much faster.Second: something to take into consideration is that this “raises” the hitting surface above your feet. I’m not sure how I feel about this, but assuming you understand this you can analyze the impact and divot zone more accurately. The “good” contact looked fat to me, but thinking about the amount it raises your club it makes sense.Third: I wouldn’t use it too much. I practiced with this for a bit before I started going to the range this season. It’s early but my findings so far is that I seem to be catching my shots a tad thin. Not bad thin, more like a clip off the ground. I think it helped shake off the fat ones, but I’d practice only a little to help promote hitting a little thinner. I’d worry that too much practice on this would result in developing a less solid strike.I’d always have problems with fat shots when the season started. This has helped thin them out, but real practice should occur on the range.Reasonable cost, can help correct fat shots, but I am not going to rely on it too much. A few warm ups (2-3) per day tops.

Bogey to scratch golfer!
This mat is absolutely changing my golf game for the better quickly! I set it up inside my house and it very quickly shows how you're hitting the ground and the ball. It is easy to reset and allows a lot of reps quickly. It is a pretty heavy duty mat so it doesn't move when you have a bad swing either which is great.

Good mat for quick results
This product has helped me correct the contact point of my golf swing pretty quickly as it gives instant feedback of where I'm making contact and how far outside or inside my swing path is in relation to where I'm making contact. I played college baseball and naturally have a slice to my game, this impact mat has helped correct most of my slice (still have a little fade to the ball flight) but turned it into a manageable flight path. I would recommend this product to someone looking to get a little help with their slice/hook; the only knock I have is that the mat has been starting to lift up from the base towards the back but nothing that has prevented me from using it in my spare time.
