Works just like the name brand magic eraser, but is 1/3 of the price! People saying the sponge breaks apart, well yes that's how it's designed to work. The product disappears when it is used, that's why you also need to wipe the surface with a damp cloth. Love these sponges for grimey walls, keeping white shoes white, and so much more!

my own fault for not reading the description correctly. i thought i had purchased the bigger size but clearly i chose the wrong size. but not to worry they work as predicted. i unfortunately go through a lot of these when i clean so i'll definitely have to buy more soon.

I purchased these for general household use. Took me one sponge to get surface discolorations off of a white staircase in my home. To compare results, I tried gentle dawn dish soap on a wet and wringed out papertowel as well as if just a household disinfecting wipe out of the can on one stair tread each.These smeared the mess into almost a dingy paint layer effect but did ok at wiping off some dirt if immediately wiping off the dinge layer with a clean cloth.Otherwise, a single household disinfecting wipe cleaned the tread best and left no dingy layer on their own.The mild dish detergent plus water moistened and wrung-out paper towels were least effective, in so much as one quick wipe down from using only one moist paper towel cleaned but not to the level of probably removing enough of the paint to reveal a fresher new layer of white paint just behind that.Depending on your intended purpose, these are ok if the price wins you over from the name brand version that in my personal experience has a bit more durability built into its repeated use. One block each wore out for me of these generics with each time I wiped the surface treads and adjacent 7” risers on my white painted indoor steps. The treads measured 7.5”x 27” (inches) - not a huge area and the paint wasn’t matte, it was a semi-gloss finish that tends to keep surface discolorations at the surface rather than absorbing those deeper in like a more porous matte finish paint would.

Thought I was addicted to only Mr.Clean magic erasers but no...these work just the same. Great value, I won't run out for a while now! I use them on so much

I bought these sponges hoping they were similar to the magic eraser - they were not. These fall apart when in use and leave residue behind. Can not say for sure that they clean well simply because you can not scrub with these. I'd pay the higher price to get the magic erasers if that is your intended use.

They seem to work as well as the namebrand products. I used them to clean my sneakers and they were just fine. This one has worked well on my bathtub too, to remove soap scum.

These white little sponges are wonderful!They have worked everywhere I used them.Would purchase again.
